Das Problem beim #Twexit zu #Mastodon war, dass man zwar die #Nazis dortgelassen hat, aber alle Blockwarte die *keine* Nazis sind, sind hier rübergekommen.

Und heute wie 1845 gilt:

"Pereant die Liberalen,
Die bei schwelgerischen Mahlen
Bei gefüllten Festpokalen,
Turm der Freiheit sich genannt,
Und die doch um einen Titel,
Zensor werden oder Büttel
Oder gar ein Denunziant:

I don't blame the EFF for leaving Twitter.

99% of my peeps aren't on the platform anymore, either. Only having a 97% drop is impressive, really.

The people are just not there anymore.

@IcooIey @alice Gosh I hope your neighbor gives the fediverse a try. I was in the process of figuring out my own #AuDHD status right as #twexit happened and the people I’ve met via mastodon have been wonderful in helping reassure me “yes, I’m different, but that doesn’t mean I’m broken”

I'm going through my #Twitter archive and apparently I sent more than 70% of my tweets between 2018 and 2019 😂

This makes sense as I was a full time #freelance writer a the time but I still wouldn't have thought that the difference would be that stark!

Mit danske fedi-feed er faktisk mere levende, end mit danske twitter-feed nogensinde var.

I really thought I would miss Twitter but after logging out I never really thought about coming back.

Sure I get information slower, at least that's what I think but that's it.

I feel less stressed since I left Twitter behind, hopefully it will stay like that.

In einem Meinungsartikel für die Zeitschrift Publik-Forum stelle ich die These auf, dass Elon Musk jeden X-Account als Munition gegen die Demokratie verwendet. X wurde zur Waffe (#weaponized).

Es ist völlig egal, was ein User auf X schreibt oder tut – die Spielregeln legt allein der Besitzer fest.
