I highly recommend Mastodon over Post.news. Mastodon is decentralized and can't be bought by some toxic billionaire. Post can be bought and Elon's Twitter investor Andreessen Horowitz is involved in their funding. https://techcrunch.com/2022/11/28/post-news-twitter-alternative-a16z/Mastodon does need some user interface and user experience improvements but all the Twitter alternatives are young and experiencing growing pains.
