I use #Etesync (has calendar, tasks and contacts). You can selfhost for free or don't, like I do, €24/year; Belgian I think.
Support is good. Not a lot of problems, but also very little feature development. Integrates with a lot of things. Works nicely with Thunderbird.

But I don't know how sharing works. I think read only wasn't a real problem though. But never used it.

Avec #gandi qui ferme le service de mails gratuits associés à un domaine, j'en profite pour revoir ma configuration PIM.

Je dois avouer que si je peux déléguer la gestion des composants comme IMAP et Nextcloud, je ne dirais pas non.

Pour la gestion des contacts, du calendrier et des tâches, je suis tombé sur https://www.etesync.com/ , qui semble pas mal du tout. Mais le site web ne semble pas très actif. Le projet est-il encore maintenu ?

With gandi closing its free mail service, I'm reviewing my PIM setup.

I'm not that interested in managing the whole IMAP, nextcloud and co, so I'm looking at some managed services.

By the look of it, https://www.etesync.com/ seems nice for calendar/tasks/contacts. But the website does not seem very active. Is the project still maintained ?

We can't possibly maintain all plugins for Evolution ourselves which is why in 3.48 we made a change that allows to ship plugins as separate #flatpak extensions.

And the @EteSync plugin is currently waiting for someone who would create and maintain its extension on #Flathub. #Etesync

@pnpnerd ich finde die Kombination super, die eigene #Nextcloud aber die Daten trotzdem E2E-verschlüsseln mit #Cryptomator. Auch in den eigenen Server kann eine unerwünschte Person einsteigen, mit E2E-Verschlüsselung ein deeeuuuuutlich kleineres Problem...wenn überhaupt 🎉

Für Kontakte und Kalender noch ein eigenes #EteSync, dann ist das Setup perfekt 😍

The best decision I have ever made was to use #etesync + tasks.org to organize my workflow. I'm the kind of person for whom tracking tasks in mind doesn't really workout. 🤷‍♂️

When there are so many things on my mind, I get overwhelmed and end up not doing anything at all. Tasks has helped me organize it all and then go through it one by one. I feel really productive :)

For my folks from not-the-rich-countries-of-the-world, a public service announcement that @EteSync offers a fair pricing initiative. ✌️

Da ist #EteSync vmtl auch erwähnenswert. Bin vor kurzem auf für Kalender und Kontakte darauf umgestiegen, der Grund war, dass es Ende-zu-Ende-verschlüsselt ist. Es bietet allerdings auch integriert eine Versionierung an und laut Button kann man zu einem vorherigen Status zurückspringen, getestet habe ich das aber nicht. Ersetzt natürlich kein Backup, aber ist schonmal etwas extra Sicherheit :-)
