Nachdem ich verzweifelt bin, dass ich openwebui nicht so mit meiner searxng Instanz verbinden konnte, dass die Modelle darauf zugreifen konnte...hat es bei anythingLLM auf Anhieb gepasst...

I keep getting suspended, captcha'd and "too many requests" by almost all engines.

Llevaba mucho tiempo sin cacharrear con el #selfhosting pero hoy me ha picado el gusanillo y me he montado un #searxng. Todavía me queda tunearlo bastante porque creo que me he venido arriba y le he metido demasiados motores a la vez, pero la primera impresión sin ser espectacular es correcta.

Aunque no es un selfhosting purista porque le he montado un control de acceso con Cloudflare así que he logrado un combo hit de desventajas al añadir dependencia de big tech y alta posibilidad de indisponibilidad si hay fútbol :pajara:

Mi instancia de SearXNG no funciona por el momento porque directamente blacklistearon la IP de la VPS. Ya ni siquiera se trata de un CAPTCHA como antes, sino que la IP fue bloqueada por completo tanto por Startpage como por Duckduckgo como por Brave.

Lamento las molestias y esperemos que pronto levanten el bloqueo.

I did manage to pull the SearXNG Image using Podman Desktop. I just need to do the continued reading of the documentation to properly set it up.

I ran out of time on these days off to do it...So next several days off will be when I choose to attempt to configure the SearXNG Image so I can run it correctly.

Reading the documentation for SearXNG because...I kinda forgot about what I wanted to do until I saw Podman Desktop on my computer...Good job brain, at least you remembered ROFL.

I will get it installed yet, somehow. Once, I've read through everything because the documentation is my friend not my enemy.

@Mehrad #Kagi isn't a charity. It's a US for-profit (afaik a Delaware "public benefit corp," but still a corporation). I think they need a non profit control though being #USA based I would still be reluctant to invest my time or give them my money. With Trump, USA or China makes no difference. For now I’ll stick with my self-hosted #searxng

Bon, c'était sympa d'utiliser #SearXNG comme moteur de recherche (sur mon propre serveur en plus !) mais cet été les blocages de requêtes et les captcha auront eu raison de moi, on a de plus en plus de recherches qui échouent parce qu'aucun moteur n'a répondu, les requêtes sont toujours retardées par la réponse la plus longue, bref c'est devenu plus chiant qu'autre chose.

Je reviens sur https://noai.duckduckgo.com du coup.
