We’ll keep trying to go for some timely comedic takes in these dark dark domestic times. I will say it’s heartening to know most of the rest of #WesternCivilization is looking at what’s happening here ,putting down the cheese and crackers… and heading for the door. No thanks seems to be the message. They’re gonna keep #Democracy going in the #EU even if the lights go out here. That is the most heartening thing to have seen in recent weeks. Also that #BillyCobham #TimeMachine video. Fresh air

I've read multiple conflicting accounts of how this album came together. Despite it being two tracks (Side A - Right Off; Side B - Yesternow), it was edited together by Teo Macero from a bunch of separate sessions.
But whatever the truth is, the band absolutely cooks. Probably my favorite "Electric Miles" album.

It’s not just that George Duke is in there…this could almost be a Zappa album. I don’t know who influenced who, but there was definitely some cross-pollination going on.
Also rather fun when you hear a song (in this case, Stratus) and realize that the very distinctive bass line, drums, and guitar were sampled by someone…here, Massive Attack’s Safe From Harm.
