It’s not just that George Duke is in there…this could almost be a Zappa album. I don’t know who influenced who, but there was definitely some cross-pollination going on.

Also rather fun when you hear a song (in this case, Stratus) and realize that the very distinctive bass line, drums, and guitar were sampled by someone…here, Massive Attack’s Safe From Harm.
