the attitude #Trump administration has to #drugs makes 0 sense - one moment they are pardoning dealers, the next making #harmreduction more difficult - *unless* there's a deliberate attempt (maybe not even from Trump or RFK, but someone more clued up) to "give folk enough rope to hang themselves" or even allow the use of #fentanyl and other nasties like #xylazines to cull out "undesirables"..

Ein Weg da raus wäre die kontrollierte Abgabe von #Heroin, um darauf Therapien aufzubauen. Dem steht aber die blinde "War against Drugs"-Ideologie entgegen, die extrem wirkungsvoll jede nüchterne Debatte im Keim erstickt und lieber die Suchtkranken der Mafia zum Fraß vorwirft.

#Lithuanian & #Baltic mythology imagined the fingers of #Velnias, God of the Underworld, as mushrooms growing to feed the poor. The lore may be inspired by #XylariaPolymorpha ("Dead Man's Fingers", that's the fungus in the illustration) or #ClathrusArcheri ("Devil's Fingers"), although both are inedible. But why should the Devil care?

What a weekend. Finally meeting Tim Dodd after eight years of knowing each other virtually was just so great. Spending time with Tim filled my cup in of itself.
Xyla Foxlin and Andrew Adams are super great humans - I had dinner with them tonight, and really, we just shot the shit.
Joel Gomes (aka Integza) and I spent about half an hour outside the restaurant talking about being a YouTube creator, and about how genuine other creators like Cody's Lab and NileRed are too.
