I have a German smartphone brand that runs on a fork of LineageOS called VollaOS, which comes pre-installed.
I'm wondering if this system will continue to work, and therefore, if the smartphone will still be able to perform its function... ?

Y bueno, amigos. Por lo visto, Google piensa barrer con las aplicaciones de código abierto de Android al establecer un registro centralizado y control de claves de firma. Esto afectaría a tiendas de código abierto como F-Droid y proyectos de desarrollo independientes. Y por otro lado, incumple la promesa original de su producto, que se vendió como un "sistema abierto" en contraste a iOS. La deriva autoritaria de Android es evidente.
