Brazil holds elections on Sunday so everyone can vote. Provides free transport to polling stations so everyone can vote. And voting is mandatory at the risk of a fine. The results are out in hours.
US goes out of its way to make voting as hard as possible, gerrymander those who still vote, and use every trick (and lots of money) to stop the count where they don't like. The results take a week and lawsuits.
Today I read that Bolsanaro's mayors tried the US approach of hobbling voting infra. And he's following his dad (and Trump) in not recognising the results.
