@rainer Jedes DE hat einen window-manager ( argh fühlt sich komisch an).
Am Ende nutzt jeder ein DE, auch die Leute welche so was wie sway nutzen.
Unter #X11 war das noch etwas einfacher da dort weniger Abhängigkeiten zu bestimmten Protokollen da sind. Mit #Wayland ist das wieder anders du kannst nur verwenden was kompatibel bzw. tun was erlaubt ist. Nutze aktuell #KDE #Plasma mit #i3wm hoffe das ich irgendwann ähnliches mit Wayland kann. -
I was fixing some #Krunner plugin to result better matches.
Being through my use of #Emacs also #Lisp guy made me want to go trough a list like in lisp,
with a while-let unfortunately #CXX doesn't have such a feature.
The first other result I got was about #rust. It does awfully look like lisp from that point of view.
Just the syntax is pretty weird seeing it from that angle. -

with new hardware.
openSUSE #Aeon, immutable GNOME based.
#Kalpa same but KDE based.
#Fedora #Silverblue or regularImmutable or not depends on preference.

The amount of karma farming that #kokoomus is doing on top of poor people who can't

I had a quiet strong reaction on the feelings I get for how I'm treated as a #neurodivergent person by the #Finnish #childservices as a #parent.
I took some time but still in the end I have the same thoughts.
I'm supposed to mask my behavior so I'm not misunderstood? Am I a bad parent if I don't mask, am I a bad parent if I don't shut up if I have a problem with some of their actions?
It does feel that being different is a personal failure in #Finland, at least when it's the social services. -
The first custom config was my #Emacs config that started as a few lines of lisp copied from the internet.
It grew as I got better up to a point where it required reworking to stay readable.
But at that point I got far enough to be able to redo it.
A thing I would like to have earlier if I knew is to use something like #yadm to manage my configuration. -
#Emacs's display-buffer-alist is awesome once you the hang of it. It allows to completely
change how Emacs's own windows are placed.
Like I'm using #i3 #i3wm I want that most of my Emacs windows are just frames.
The only downside is that a lot of that infrastructure depends on #X11 since on #Wayland
you can't universally tell if a frame is visible or where you want it to be placed..
For now fixing the i3 integration to filter visible frames for display-buffer-alist. -

I was talking today to a doctor in the #healthcare center in #Tampere. They asked for a document in paper. When I asked about mailing it then they told me that they are not allowed to use email.
They only use #secureemail, a service where you open the message via a third party website. It's crazy to me that they are not allowed to send emails but allowed to use a third party that provides the same Transport level encryption that email does too.
But at the same time no to end to end encryption.
