I just built a small CV page with Hugo, including a minimalist Hugo theme. v0.0.1 and not really responsive. A CV-MVP.

The CV is unapologetic and principled. It represents my current view on the world and the work I like to do. When people throw it in the trash, my goal is reached.

Opinions? I'm not actively looking for a job. It just completes the about page of my blog :blobcatcoffee:

Btw das Mädel was mich gestern vom Forsa Institut angerufen hat hat mich auch gefragt ob ich die gleiche Befragung mit einer KI durchführen würde wenn Sie genauso klingen und sich verhalten würde wie Sie. Klar war meine Antwort: NEIN! Aber schon krass das die nach ihrer eigenen Abschaffung fragen müssen.

I’m thinking of switching away from Debian because of all the systemd AI garbage code. Are there any good alternative distributions that don't rely on systemd and aren't full of AI code? The only things that matter to me are that I can still use X11 and i3wm.

Maybe void Linux and runit are an option. I have to look into that.

:ablobcatheartsqueeze: I have been running iocaine on my server for a week now. During this time, 7,076,701 requests have passed through iocaine, 3,312,318 of which were identified as AI crawlers/bots. 3,741,577 requests came from crawlers/bots that got stuck in iocaine's deadly maze, consuming an infinite amount of poisoned garbage. Furthermore, 972 crawlers/bots were detected that were routed into the maze via major browsers.

All of this is managed by iocaine with just ~80 MB of memory and ~0.1% direct CPU usage. Now that’s what I call efficient! Well done, @algernon.

Let's fight back against AI crawlers and bots. Thanks to projects like iocaine, this is entirely possible, not just theory :blobcat_thisisfine:

My preferred solution here is CI/CD without code reviews, with 100% code responsibility and AI disclosure per merge request. Anyone using AI must first disclose this and then explain how it has been used. If the code causes a failure, I, and I alone, am liable for it, even at 23:55.

The amount of AI code and reviews in Caddy and FrankenPHP makes me uneasy, especially since a test environment failed to boot up today due to a non-breaking FrankenPHP build, version 1.12.

I hadn't realized until now how much AI is involved, including Copilot for reviews.

Is it used in nginx as well? I may have to migrate again, and I will probably stop donating to caddy. I'm not paying for Caddy and FrankenPHP's AI garbage.

It's crazy how drastically iocaine's default request handler, QMK, reduced the load on my forgejo container. It's now around 10 per minute instead of over 1,000 per minute! I hope all of these AI bots and crawlers get lost in iocaine's poisonous, infinite maze of garbage :blobcatgiggle: :ablobcatwave:

I have just installed iocaine 3.2.0 by @algernon and have already started successfully serving poisoned garbage to the AI agents. I love it! I especially like how simple the setup was, and how easy it was to expand my existing Caddyfile. My monthly donation is set up too. What a great project!

I came across iocaine from @algernon a few minutes ago because of the DDoS attack on Codeberg. Anything that stops, annoys, or destroys AI has my support. I also had to deal with annoying, aggressive crawlers recently and I banned ~150,000 IPs.

I'll set it up in Caddy tonight. Let's see how it performs. If it works, I'll definitely make a donation.

It's clear that Spotify hasn't written a single line of code since December "thanks to AI". My smartphone app has been crashing regularly for weeks, and the transitions between audio and video are completely buggy. Since the last Spotify Flatpak update, the flatpak app on my computer won't even start up anymore :blobcattableflip:

I must never share code with people outside the company; otherwise, it would be a breach of confidentiality, for which I could face a €10,000 fine. Ich finde ja Petitionen jenseits von Bundestagspetitionen leider nicht mehr so ergiebig und sie befriedigen mein Bedürfnis nach "irgendwas muss ich doch machen" auch gar nicht mehr so wie früher. Aber da hier schon so viele Menschen mit gezeichnet haben (warum haben nur so wenige dafür gezeichnet, dass alle am ersten Krankheitstag Lohn erhalten??? I will never get it) denke ich mir, lass uns mal noch viel mehr werden! Vielleicht merkt Netflix dann was und alle anderen merken es früher.
