Is it too much to ask that all I want in my musical life is to be able to play acoustic guitar like Phil Keaggy? "County Down" is one of the most beautiful pieces of acoustic music I've ever heard - and not just because it's backed by beautiful fiddle work, it's just an amazingly well performed and powerful piece. Makes me cry everytime I hear it.

3d printed a front panel and mounted the basic buttons. About ready to go to the next step on this one and install the new buttons and panel into the big cabinet.

I'm having WAY too much fun with this build. This is a VirtualPinball table, currently running GOONIES. I've gotten the playsurface, backglass, and dot matrix display working, controls are currently on the keyboard, but i have the parts for the rest of the box.
I think I'm going to scale up the monitor from 27" to 32" before building out the actual cabinet. But holy cats this is fun.

Goodbye old Atlas, welcome New Atlas. Boston Dynamics has ended the original Atlas design and has a new all electric version. There's... some very creepy motions in it, but it makes sense (no need to adhere to limitations of the human body in range of motion).

Cleaning out the office a bit today. Came across these oldies lying on the back shelf. This was pretty hot stuff 6-ish years ago, now they're retro tech. I'm still proud I built and flew them, but the tech and industry has definitely moved along.

Upping my baking game a bit. Learning how to prepare Choux dough for pastries, and now (second try) made a set of eclaires for our holiday bake-off. The piping bag I have has a too-small tip on it, so these are thinner than they shoudl be, but they came out great, and everyone loved them.

Todays CL/FBMP win. My #aeron chair has a bent frame so I’ve been hunting around for a replacement size C. This one popped up -frame and base is fine, pan and arms are shot. HAH! For $100 I can buy this one for parts and merge em together. Win!

Adventures in #solaridiy
I modified my MagicMirror display (it's not a mirror, just a stats screen that I have at my desk - shows all sorts of info) to watch MQTT for statistics from my solar controller. This worked great, and now I have realtime data from my panels and battery out in the shed.
