As a sort of intersection between Buddhism and polyamory, I used to say I was in love with humanity as a simplistic way of explaining how I felt. Because of certain events, I fell out of love with humanity. Today, I think I took my first steps towards falling back in love. A certain wall fell.

Reality is a bitter pill when you’ve been fed a steady diet of religious fantasy. While life always was random, I felt safer when I could explain it as “God’s will” or “Satan’s handiwork.” I felt extremely exposed & vulnerable without my Cosmic Big Brother watching over me.
