Juten Morjen euch allen.
Heute noch ein Urlaubs Update von gestern, das habe nicht mehr geschafft und da jetzt Koch alle pennen, habe ich Zeit für euch.

Der Morgen gestern fpng recht früh für mich an, gegen 5.30 Uhr fing es an mit nieseln und ich jin dadurch wach geworden.
Weil meine Routinen ja so sind, das ich eh früh immer raus muss auf Arbeit, musste ich auch auf Toilette.
Also die 390m hin und zurück und es fing gerade an, sich einzuregnen.
Noch mal in den Schlafsack gebrochen aber ich konnte nicht wieder einschlafen, man hat den Verkehr auf der M5 so deutlich gehört, das mich das gestört hat.
Also habe ich mir Tee gekocht und gelesen.
@[email protected] Band 7 geschafft und da geht es ja ab..
Leider hatte ich nur zwei 700 Seiten Bücher mit u d jetzt fehlt mur hier Band 8 von the Expanse, also musste ich so noch rumgammeln, bei dem Wetter.
Weil es eh gepusst hat, habe ich die weiblichen Reiseteilnehmer weiter pennen lassen....

Irgend wann ga b es dann Frühstück und das Wetter klärte auf.
Ich habe nur den Fehler gemacht, nicht von lange auf kurze Hose zu wechseln... 😶
Ich habe die Familie überredet, mit mir nach Cleeve Hill bzw. Cleeve Commons zu fahren, weil man da Fossilen finden kann.
Man darf nicht Buddeln und Felsen aufschlagen aber Steine aufheben.
Dazu mussten wir mal "kurz" durch Cheltenham durchfahren. Nach den Erfahrungen aus Tewkesbury und Gloucester, war das hier ganz anders und größer bzw. Flächenmäßig größer.
Als wir dann langsam den Hügel hoch waren, breitete sich unter uns die Landschaft aus.
Das war das erste mal, das widas so rivhtig genossen haben hier in The Midlands 🥰
Das ist auch das , was uns so an Wales und Schottland gefällt, weite Landschaften ❤️
The Midlands sind dann doch schon sehr Besiedelt und eben auch Brauchland. Sei es Industrie oder Acker und Viehzucht.
Auf Cleeve Commons dann ne Runde wandern gewesen, sehr zum Unwillen der Teens. Die wollten nur zum Bruchkante und suchen.
Ich wusste ja, das es dort einen Golfplatz gibt, hatte diesen Urlaub aber gar kein Bedürfnis, selber mal ne Runde zu gehen, also dieses innere: ich will das.
Aber ich habe mich doch gefreut, den #Golfplatz zu sehen. Der hat auch etwas schottisches, die Greenkeeper sind die Schafe für den Weg zum Loch und nur die Greens werden gepflegt.
Ein sehr schonendes Golfplatz Konzept.
An der Bruchkante haben wir dann in den Schotter Feldern ein wenig gesucht.
K2 har was gefunden und Frau und ich auch. Bei uns bin ich mir relativ sicher,das wir ggf. Nadeln von Seeigeln gefunden haben.
Das ganze fand auch noch bei 24 Grad statt, auch wenn die Wolken das nicht vermuten lassen. 😉
Damit wir die Teens nicht ganz gegen uns aufbringen, hat meine Frau beschlossen, das wir noch nach Tewkesbury fahren und die weiblichen Reiseteilnehmer sich in den Charity Shops was kaufen können. Das machen wir in jedem UK Urlaub, uns da umsehen und was kaufen, wenn was passt.
Nachdem die Frauen damit fertig waren, sind wir noch los um Gemüse und Brot zu kaufen. Als wir dann aus dem Laden kamen, hatte es wieder angefangen zu regnen.
Also zurück zum Auto, natürlich nass geworden, und zurück zum Zelt.
Dort habe ich für uns gekocht zum Abend, die Kinder hatten Käsespätske und für uns hatte ich eine indische Soße und Reis gekauft.
Ich muss leider sagen, meiner Frau war das essen zu hot, sie kann nicht so scharf essen.
Sorry beste Frau von allen 😶
Den abend dann noch mit Gammeln für die Kinder und Spielen für die alten rungebracht

We will be at Cheltenham soon between 8th and 10th March.
I will have all the new prints including a framed Mevagissey Harbour, Coverack and Rooftops of St. Ives. Plus unframed prints, cards, scenes and garlands.
I am so excited to show you my new work but that will not be done in time for Cheltenham. I feel like I'm still moving forward which is great.
