From snowdrops to bas relief.

I like to feel the shapes of leaves and flowers, to stroke grass heads, to feel the texture of bark. Bring sight-impaired, these tactile actions are part of my enjoyment of time in nature.

I am incorporating tactile elements in the local nature-inspired artworks I am creating. This includes bas reliefs of plants.

Today I’m playing with dots, to paint a stand of birch trees up on Leckhampton Hill. These are the first few dots going down… I’ll show you where I get to later on.
