I had a _very_ good moment playing through Cobalt Core last night, https://m.twitch.tv/videos/2546364584
Some spoilers since this is the rather challenging boss fight at the end of a game loop. Bit of a slow burner (~5min) since it took a bit to figure out the moves for the turn being as tired as I was, but worth it ^_^

I also got my first “One of Three” in Tetris the Grand Master 4 during last nights stream! This is a very high difficulty level Tetris with it’s own ruleset and getting this result requires hitting a very tight time gate by clearing enough levels fast enough.
TGM is hard :revblobfoxcrylaugh: but I’m slowly getting pretty okay at it!

Finished my playthrough of the System Shock (2023) remake last night and I have to say Nightdive did a good job of it. It retains very much of the feel of the original and its designs, while also updating the user interface to something more modern and more easily accessible by today’s standards. Personally I quite like their take on cyberspace as well, it was a fun way to have some freedom in six dimensions and provides some nice variety.
All in all it’s a great opportunity for someone who has not had a dive into cyberspace and the Citadel station before, as well as a great for a more nostalgic replay as well. For myself it had been long enough since I had played through the original that I had forgotten most of the details.
There’s some small annoyances I had with the UI, but overall it was a pretty smooth experience.

Here’s some moments from a recent community co-op flight I ran in #DCSWorld
We were flying on the Persian Gulf Map, with some dynamic taskings you can trigger on demand. A mission a friend has been maintaining for years now and shared with me and the group.
We visited the map of the world, did some runway cratering, air to air refueling and vtol antics.

Arranging a virtual fly-in event for my community tomorrow, first one of its kind ^_^
Put together some pre-made flight plans to help people dropping in, though hoping people will make up their own flight plans as well. This is the easy variant of the two I made, simple route but it can still be easy to go amiss so will be fun to see what kind of adventures people will have :)
(The map markings are “upside down” because you hold the map oriented to the direction you’re going)

Awesome! Got everything working correctly under Windows 3.1. Turns out the S3 driver set I got was the correct one after all and I got glorious 1024x768 with 32k colors mode working! 🎉
It actually ran way smoother than I expected especially compared to the generic SVGA driver, though I eventually had to drop back down to 640x480 @ 256 colors for Myst.
After some trial and error I was able to get AWE64 sound working also, though I had to fool S64basic.exe installer that I already had a controller manager installed. Blasted canyon.mid with the creative soft synth before I tried installing Roland MPU-401 support - which my PCMidi card to my surprise was completely happy to be driven by, so I followed it up with the SC-55 MkII ^^
I find it exceedingly cool how the Win 3.1 midi mapper allows you to divide midi channels between different midi devices if you so desire. So you could have drums from one and the rest from another for example.
To top it all off we installed Quicktime 2.03 😂 and did our first foray into Myst, the goal of the whole exercise to explore its various mysteries 💕 Will be returning to it a little later!

Installed Windows 3.1 on my 486 last night ^^ Dedication to the whole playing retro games in real retro gear! I’m getting Myst installed for my first playthrough and was surprised to find it’s a requirement.
Turns out drivers for video and audio are quite the tricky ones when you need SVGA support on a VESA card and audio from a SB Awe64. Both are required to play the game properly.
I’ll need to find working drivers for my S3 Trio64v2/DX card as well as something that is actually willing to install wave support for the Awe64.

Last night I learned how to do an 11 exits #speedrun in Super Mario World with Tinahacks! ❤️ It was also my first ever playthrough of #SMW and it was a very fun time learning how to beat the game with Tina’s great teaching ^^ Thanks everyone for hanging out! 💕
At the last moment before the steam I even threw together very yanky way to make all my Twitch redeems, including dropping a box on our PNG avatars, work during the stream and it was kinda hilarious how “legally-working” it was 😁

Find myself needing to learn about #Openshift and #argocd wondering how people pre-approve operator installs in #IAC / #Automation with a specific version without setting the entire operator to update automatically (This will cause a conflict between desired version and what gets installed). Getting rid of the manual step to approve is the goal here.
Creating an installPlan manually with install approved doesn’t seem to work since the operator creates its own installPlan that overrides it.

Had a great time doing #GarticPhone with @LumKitty and a bunch of great people from the community! Absolute blast with art silliness together 💕 First time I’ve tried the guest starring with an another #VTuber Thanks for the helping set things up!

I’ve got my first 5” 6s freestyle quad! Feeling #analog for the moment, maybe mod later on.
In the meantime I’ve got #HDZero goggles with a v2 adapter + TBS Fusion module. It’s currently cropping the 4:3 signal to 16:9 and missing a bunch of the bottom of the view. How do you fix aspect ratio with this thing?
Do I need to change something in the analog module or the goggles?

Hey #FPV #quad friends, what’s your experiences on how long do 1S lipos last? When do you start replacing them?
Feel free to comment how many cycles if time is way more subjective for your use.
I bought my Tattu R-line 500mAh/95C lipos in the beginning of the year and I was getting about 2min 30s of air time per, now I’m seeing only 2 minutes max.
They’ve probably each gone through 20 full charge cycles max and were put on. storage charge after all flights.

Got two “Max Comfort Goggle Foam Cushions” from NewBeeDrone for my #HDZero.
Old original foam (already conformed to shape) on the top, new on the bottom.
On an initial check it does feel there’s some more to cushion - it’s bit thicker and denser material and expect it to be a bit more comfortable on the long flight sessions.
Bit disappointed at the shoddy glue job on one side of the foam for the velcro. Going to have to add a bit of glue - the other one seems okay.

Hey women in aviation, any recommendations for a reliable and clear to read watch for flying? Preferably non-huge, and the batteries should last - I don’t care about smart functions.
