Its been a long time since my last post, but I'm still working on my Tetris clone demake (PTET). All the hardest modes are done, and also high-scores are now supported.
With this, all the gameplay features are done. There's still a lot left to do, as the menus are very rough right now, and no music has been added yet.

So I played a bit of #tetris on the #nes of course. Megaman X on the #SNES (actually #superfamicom with region mod and colored LED), some Gran Turismo in the F1 shaped thing and Smash Brothers on the #GameCube with the kids. Missing a lot of Japanese games which I played mainly though. #retrogaming

Just built a prototype of a audio-first, screen reader accessible Tetris game written in Rust/WxDragon for Windows called Audio Tetris using Google Antigravity. Me he pillado el #TetrisEffectConnected en #Epic; lo sé: soy gilipollas. Mira que me he prometido no soltarle un duro a esta gente. Y mira. Al final por un descuento un euro y poco superior a Steam me convenció.
El juego es el #Tetris: sí. Pero con una ambientación muy chula. Hace el clásico juego muy inmersivo. Muy guay.
Si alguien quiere echar un pique soy trinukso. Imagino que da igual "la plataforma".

I’ve been having a blast playing the best Tetris game ever: The New Tetris on N64.
I’m emulating it and playing it with a USB Saturn controller from Retro-Bit. It’s a great experience :tetris: :n64:

I'm getting back into #programming after (oh fuck, 22?) years. I was a Java/CGI (wow has the meaning of that acronym changed) web dev back when it was kind of new and trendy. Anyway, one of the supposedly easy projects is to make a #tetris clone. Modern languages are now so foreign to me that the only way I can see myself actually accomplishing this goal is to hammer it out in QBASIC. If anyone can provide me with a resource that will help me catch up on 20 years of development (and how to do it), that would be amazing since I want desperately to make meaningful contributions to FOSS projects.

My Intercity train got cancelled due to the heatwave, so I had to take 2 regional trains.
