I’ve got my first 5” 6s freestyle quad! Feeling #analog for the moment, maybe mod later on.
In the meantime I’ve got #HDZero goggles with a v2 adapter + TBS Fusion module. It’s currently cropping the 4:3 signal to 16:9 and missing a bunch of the bottom of the view. How do you fix aspect ratio with this thing?
Do I need to change something in the analog module or the goggles?

Got two “Max Comfort Goggle Foam Cushions” from NewBeeDrone for my #HDZero.
Old original foam (already conformed to shape) on the top, new on the bottom.
On an initial check it does feel there’s some more to cushion - it’s bit thicker and denser material and expect it to be a bit more comfortable on the long flight sessions.
Bit disappointed at the shoddy glue job on one side of the foam for the velcro. Going to have to add a bit of glue - the other one seems okay.

Bit disappointed that Rev 26062023 for the HD-Zero goggles didn't fix detecting an already plugged in HDMI signal, though reported and acknowledged a while back.
It's a small nuisance but having to reconnect my AvatarHD module every time I start the headset for the source to register is still an annoyance.

HD-Zero Analog expansion module v2 with wifi support is out! Should be able to stream direct over wifi with this, including to the phone of someone who wants to watch.
Placed the order for mine ^^ Need to look into what kind of a analog receiver I should fit into it. Any recommendations?

First outdoor drone race of the season in the books. This was my first race with HDZero digital FPV and wow, does it look amazing. I was able to avoid a couple of crashes because of the extra clarity. If you race FPV then HDZero is totally worth it. The HDZero goggles are, without a doubt, the best goggles I’ve owned, and I’ve gone through a bunch over the years.

A thoroughly trashed #Mobula7 2/3s frame. Was my first #HDZero quad, and one of my first quads in general, so it took a beating. Finally swapped it out for a new black frame that I've had sitting around for just this moment. Still flies great and hopefully the darker color will hide the dirt better :)

Managed to fly for almost two hours non-stop. Recharging on field from a rather large 6S battery. 5 batteries are charged in the time I empty 4. Unfortunately it rained, and I managed to trip on my foot. Now I hobble around :| Totally worth it tho.

They finally arrived - if you fly FPV these are the goggles to get. The optics are incredible good, the software is great, and feel of these goggles is fantastic. I am not yet flying HDZero but even flying with an analog receiver the quality is super good. I'm a believer that because HDZero is open source it will have a big impact in the FPV world.

I just bit the bullet and picked up the new HDZero FPV goggles. That HDZero is embracing open source is a major reason for me buying them. I like what HDZero has done so far and all the reviews on the goggles are glowing so far. Even the analog adapter looks very nice.
Going to build my own 1S HDZero whoop soon - excited to experience micro racing in HD!
