@CerstinMahlow I've been using #wigle on mobile for several years now. It just seems that #NearbyGlasses is just a highly focused (BT/BLE MACs) version of that.
My nagging thought is "What's stopping those Meta Ray-bans from hoovering up the nearby Wifi/BT/BLE MACs as well?".
THAT is the real surveillance here and I don't put it past Meta to do this.

"Certains traits du trumpisme triomphant s’opposent pourtant directement à des éléments centraux de la doctrine néolibérale : celle-ci s’est construite contre l’irrationalité du leader et a voulu fortement encadrer le pouvoir politique en promouvant un marché protégé des concentrations excessives par des législations anti-trusts et anti-monopoles. Cette doctrine, de même, a valorisé le rôle des tribunaux et de l’État de droit dans la protection des droits individuels contre les abus du gouvernement, même ou surtout appuyés sur l’invocation du « peuple ».
De telles différences majeures ont conduit Wendy Brown à estimer que le trumpisme actuel était bien une sortie du néolibéralisme, même s’il était aussi le « produit » des politiques économiques néolibérales. Selon ses termes, Trump est le Frankenstein du néolibéralisme.
Pour mieux comprendre le cas américain sous certains aspects, la convocation du spectre de Foucault peut nous être utile. Mais elle réserve aussi quelques surprises.
En 1976, dans La Volonté de savoir, Michel Foucault proposait une théorisation devenue célèbre du fascisme allemand, le nazisme, comme conjonction entre les fantasmes du sang et les paroxysmes d’un pouvoir disciplinaire — un mixte de « souveraineté » archaïque, possédant droit de vie et de mort, et de « biopolitique » où il s’agit de « faire vivre » les populations sur une base pseudo-biologique, raciale, et de les « sélectionner » sur un mode raciste."

Just shipped these babies to the Clay Center of New Orleans. I'm super excited to be one of the artists chosen by juror Courtney Mattison to showcase my work in the "Ripple Effect" exhibit opening April 19th.
The two pieces I will be showing are sculpted out of white stoneware clay and glazed a lovely bronze color that changes depending on the lighting.
