Seit Edward Snowden wissen wir, dass China uns überwacht (oder war es ein anderes Land? .. nee das müssen Asiaten gewesen sein, despotische Rasse). Endlich unternimmt mal jemand was! China wird verboten. Sehr konsequent und richtig finde ich auch das neue Sanktionspaket der EU gegen die USA und Israel. Alles andere wäre ja jämmerlich und so offensichtliche, arschkriecherische Heuchelei, wir könnten uns ja nie mehr irgendwo sehen lassen. Gut das Vernunft herrscht. Im Übrigen setzt der deutsche Staat auch Überwachung gegen die Bevölkerung ein und sollte aus den Playstores entfernt werden.
Deepseek ist übrigens FOSS auf MIT-Lizenz. Man kann das Modell in verschiedenen Varianten hier <a href="https://www.deepseek.com/">https://www.deepseek.com/</a> herunterladen. Was super cool ist und man schnell machen sollte, denn EU, Rechtsruck, Rückwärtsgewandtheit, Rassismus ihr wisst schon. Auch ist es so, dass die Länder, die offene AI-Systeme nutzen, einen enormen Vorteil gegenüber den anderen haben (werden). Aber wer bin ich schon.
Auch netzpolitik.org zeig mal wieder, auf wessen Seite sie sind. (Nicht dass wir das nicht schon gewusst hätten)

I added a new section, "Security considerations", and a new requirement: compatible identifiers of server-generated keys MUST have the server's origin. Here's how that looks in practice:

A ha! I think I've found the problem. I created a test ASP profile on keyoxide with just this mastodon account as the claimed identity, done two different ways:

The first way is the standard way of adding a claim to the ASP profile, by selecting the dropdown of "Mastodon" and putting in your username. This produces a `rel="me"` URL on the profile page that looks like this:

This follows the exact format that Mastodon docs say they are looking for in a verification link, and the Mastodon client will respect this and show the link as verified (see my "Keyoxide ASP" metadata block on my profile for proof).
However, if instead of "Mastodon" in the claim creation dropdown I pick "Manual input", and then put in a link to a specific *post* on my account as the claim, then the generated URL is instead:

Notice how instead of `$instance/@$user`, the format is `$instance/users/$user`. Since this is not what Mastodon expects the format of the verification URL to be, it does not show the URL as verified.
I believe that the `/users/` approach is a more general activitypub approach, and is probably more "AP standard." However, Mastodon specifically doesn't seem to consider that as equivalent.
Three options:
1. Mastodon accepts the /users/ approach and considers the link verified (probably won't happen)
2. Keyoxide tries to determine if the specific AP implementation is Mastodon, and tweaks the URL to be in the expected format (not ideal)
3. Have ASP users only use profile claims and not post claims for Mastodon if they want Mastodon's green checkmark (easiest).For @shoppingtonz , the easiest thing for you to do would be to remove the post claim that you have on your ASP profile, and use the standard "Mastodon" dropdown instead. Then, the green verification bar and check should work for you too.

Hitting yet another Safari bug: when trying a custom URI handler from the bar, it requires a / to trigger, so foo:bar fails, but foo:/bar works. However, HTML containing <a href=foo:bar>test</a> works. Shrug.

Uno spettacolare tramonto a Marina di Ragusa
Ho messo su Pixelfed uno scatto che ho realizzato a Marina di Ragusa, al tramonto, con la Leica Q3.
Rappresenta davvero la bella luce di quel luogo, al tramonto, quando il Sole sembra tuffarsi là, dietro le case, per dare spazio alla notte.

<p>In the late nineties I went to study at the VUB in Brussels, it was also the time I got into partying to house music and into DJ’ing. At that time Pascal Saint Dic aka DJ St Dic was resident DJ at Fuse club in Brussels at the first floor playing house music. Scalle as he was know to his friends was an inspired me to dance my ass of and to play amazing music, no matter what genre.
