  1. @SarahFrumento Using @mastofeed happily for over ten accounts. I never figured out what the emojis in the diagnose view mean. With my self-generated feeds from other websites, I sometimes struggle a bit with multiple posts in one hour. I would assume that a regular posting frequency from a blog should not interfere with this.

  2. Sonny RIP One of the greatest players in the jazz legacy, Sonny Rollins passed away last week on May 25 at 95 years of age. On this episode, we look back on his career which spanned 7 decades. Here are some of my favorite "Newk" recordings from his most creative years.

  4. In Protest Jazz artists have a history of making political statements. Mingus, Max, Rollins and Nina are among those. Recently there have been several jazz artists that have made a statement to this administration for the taking over the respected Kennedy Center for the Arts. We honor them here. Chuck Redd, The Cookers and Bela Fleck have cancelled their scheduled appearances at the Center in protest.

  5. For some reason at 6:28 AM Eastern time this morning, my #Mastofeed script started reposting a bunch of podcast recommendations from my pinboard RSS feed. I turned it off. Very weird. Background on: speedofcreativity.org/2025/06/

  6. #Mastofeed seems to be suffering from some technical difficulties…

  7. Wonder Jazz S Wonder, one of the greatest artists in popular music, is known for his popular hits, vocals, and multi-instrumental playing. However, his compositions extend far beyond the mainstream, incorporating jazz sensibilities that have inspired jazz artists to cover his work.
