They asked me to wait 20 seconds to prove I’m not a robot.
I’m genuinely impressed by how bad that UX feels. Deezer is so outrageously bad that it almost makes Spotify look decent.
Don’t build products like this. Aim for interfaces where users do nothing and immediately get what they want.

My favorite moment during #Spring is when our Mock Orange blooms. It has the absolute best floral aroma one can imagine. Just walking close to it is like entering a perfume store. It’s been blooming on our property for decades. A few years back, we purchased an additional Mock Orange from a big-box store for another spot in our yard, only to discover its flowers had NO aroma at all. So it appears that corporate nurseries are also pursuing an #enshittification strategy, foisting sub-standard products on consumers. Even the dozen roses you buy for your partner no longer smell like roses. Just pleased to live in a spot with real, old flora. #rant #SpringFlowers #Flowers #FlowersOfMastodon #BloomScrolling

I don’t get the obsession with tweaking AGENTS.md or over-engineering prompts and contexts. It's basically just adding another unnecessary layer of abstraction to software development. Why spend hours wrestling with #LLM instructions when you can just write a few hundred lines of clean code?
Also, if you’ve been a dev for years and still rely on #GenAI for basic scaffolding instead of using your own battle-tested templates, what are you even doing?!

Well, I think it's kinda sad that people are just ditching Rivals of Aether as a franchise because of the sequel being not as successful as the original.
I think the teen target audience was a perfect thing for the story and the references, but Aether Studios just went full on Nintendo and made rated E the norm.
I personally believe that the swear words should've stayed and the stuff like booze and cigs. Hell, why not add blood graphics? Teen-rated titles can have that too.
I think Dan set the franchise up for failure. He did good on the first half, but his management kinda destroyed everything.
I still love Rivals of Aether, but I feel that these corporate decisions are gonna be the death of Aether Studios.

Nachdem nun unsere Wärmepumpe installiert ist wollte ich mal sehen, wie das mit dem Förderantrag weiter geht, denn wir haben in den letzten Wochen eine Menge Geld bezahlt und für die Finanzierung des Dachausbaus mit PV-Anlage wäre die Auszahlung der Förderung schon hilfreich. Also mal bei der KfW eingeloggt und auf die Antragsdetails gegangen. Da heißt es dann, man benötigt eine Identifizierung. The solution to propaganda is to not listen to it. Or else if it's really that politically dangerous and you can't trust the people not to vote the wrong way or something then I'd rather democracy be abolished than live in a society where we can't speak freely.
What kind of a democracy is it anyway where you can't speak freely? It's like: you get to choose your leaders, but your leaders get to choose your thoughts on what leaders to choose. It's circular and corrupt.

"... some 'command words' - the words that indicate how you should answer the question - were different from what pupils had been taught to expect, so they did not know what was being asked."
Have they tried reading the actual question?
I know how hard teachers work to prepare students for the exams, and I know that the students can know the maths, and I know that a question should allow the students to demonstrate their mathematical knowledge, but ...
It's an exam. Read the question, don't just go looking for 'Command Words'.
Or are they actually unable to read? Is that the problem?
Should I be more sympathetic?

Saw some blogs at swap shows showing 64 games priced at 300 dollars. I know some games are more money but that’s absurd. I’ll never go to a “con” and buy games. Most are just absurd rip offs designed to prey on the uninformed.

Are Kalimbas still trendy? I have done a few #kalimba pop and classical arrangements in the past. Hopefully I'll continue this hobby once my left hand heals. This was my first no-name kalimba modded with Ling Ting-brand tines. I have a chromatic one that I've never recorded, but intend to do so. (Also, I wonder how garbled the sound becomes once uploaded.) #rant #feditest

Sorry for the language but why do most people that stream games sound like utter retardes that shouldn't be allowed to speak at all?
You didn't "beat a game" you finished a play through. And most of you do so, badly.
Because "views" and the latest hype seems to be more important than actually enjoying a game.
Maybe it's just me but if I watch someone playing a game for the public I expect that they, et least, are good at or passionated about it.
