Scene: #CFL football game between the #Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the #Edmonton #Elks.
Winnipeg has been dominant and is leading 16 - 0, with a little over three minutes remaining in the first half.
After an incomplete pass on first down, quarterback Zach Collaros is facing 2nd down and 10 yards on his own side of the field. And #TSN's new #wunderkind colour commentator and ex-NFL player Luke Willson, who is damned annoying, comments:
Luke Willson: ... If I'm Zach Collaros, I'm going to try to find a way to convert on second and long, and try to get the lead to three scores going into halftime.
Me: Brilliant! What a strategy - get the first down and then try to score some points. How is it possible that no one has hired this man to coach his own team? Will Bombers coach Mike O'Shea figure out this brilliant plan on his own?
Sheesh.

Sitting on the phone because your internet is down and being told by robo voice you can get better service if you go online to their web tech support. If I could do that I wouldn't need to call. -

"Movie anti-star": an actor whose presence in a movie is, on its own, sufficient to cause you to avoid ever seeing it.
Adam Sandler
Rob Schneider
Kevin James
About half of the Saturday Night Live cast that have ever done a feature film
Pauly Shore
Kevin Hart
Macaulay CulkinWho would you add to the list?
I note that my list above doesn't include any women (other than perhaps SNL alumni, but I can't think of a female from there that annoys me like the above). Are only men capable of being such annoying, simpering, mugging-for-the-camera wastes of screen time?

Loudcasting, a real pain in the ears, I walked past someone yesterday taking a phone call on speaker, I dont get it, if youre struggling to hear use noise cancelling ear buds, theyre small and make phone calls way easier to hear. No one else wants to hear your phone call.
I find it anti-social & selfish pf people to do it.

Is there anything I can do about the humming of an LED?
I just installed this cheap LED with a brightness of 4600 lumen, which is really great. Now I can finally work without falling asleep.
But.
It’s humming, faintly. Which is annoying. Any ideas on how to rectify this?

Here I was last night, insistent on sitting outside the neighbour's house, after I snuck out while my human was sorting the bins. No snacks or treats worked for getting me back inside for the night so I stayed out to play while my human gave up and went to bed. After I had my fun, I cried and whinged outside the window at 4am to be let back in. Aren't I just a delight ✨

Back to work after a week off. Time to dig out of the inbox, and catch up on everything I missed. Sometimes I think returning from PTO is the worst part. Not because I don't want to go to work (i really do enjoy what I do for a living) but because nothing actually stops while you're gone. Its probably worse for folks with more dependencies riding on them, but its still not great even at my level.
But first, my Macbook has to give me grief. I use a dock, to connect to two external displays, and the laptop itself sits with its lid closed. I had the audacity to shut it down when I logged off on Friday before my PTO. This morning, not only is there no way to turn the dang thing on without pulling it out of the little shelf its in, but... That dock it spends 95% of its life connected to? The one that gives it all of its input and output... Yea, I have to allow it to connect, which means holding the laptop on my palm while i turn it on, wait for it to completely boot, login, and then plug it into the dock and click.. Allow, before I can use my keyboard, mouse, and displays. Seriously. I get it, malicious devices are a thing. but the dock i use all the dang time?
Sigh.

Duolingo, a freakin’ casino, it takes more time to open the chests and watch all animations than completing the practice.
I always have my phone in silent mode, Duolingo violates that and play more sounds than the tivoli roller coaster
Advise: you should focus on your core business.
