If you show up on a post of mine, and your profile is calling for the elimination of a minority group by violence, damn straight I'm going to block you without a second thought.
Sheesh.

If you make these kinds of choices based on "what someone says", you're doing it wrong. No one is suggesting that.
I am (slowly) moving from Debian to Devuan for all the obvious and well-documented problems with systemd. No need to recite that stuff in detail.
Observing that Ubuntu is going all-in on autoslop, and being able to connect the dots and project into the future, moving from Ubuntu to literally anything else (that isn't on the same problematic path) is also pretty darn obvious.
But throwing up a nihilist hypothetical strawman to try to convince others it's not worth trying to fix problems? That is GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE territory. Plonk.

> every town in Canada north of Sudbury
Oh little heavenly stars, you think Sudbury qualifies as "north"? "Tell me you live in southern Ontario without saying you live in southern Ontario".
To continue your thought...
> every town in Canada north of Sudbury has a plug for every car park.
You are absolutely clueless about life outside the Windsor-Montreal corridor or BC lower mainland or whatever other semi-tropical part of Canada you live in. You appear to have never visited the prairies, much less the north.
> Rural Canada is basically the niche use case.
To paraphrase, you're saying "Everyone who isn't like me should go fuck themselves, I don't care what their situation is".
