Seems like a dependency update introduced a breaking change in a minor version bump. Just rolled back #skymoth to the previous release. Of course it worked itself along its built up queue at once. But now it should work again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm going to see if there is a way to setup a crossposter via #Cloudflare workers as for some reason some of my posts are being excluded from #Skymoth

As I already have this #Bluesky profile so instead of using #BridgyFed I'm going to be using #Skymoth to cross post from #Mastodon to the skies

If you already have a BlueSky as well as a Mastodon account, let me strongly endorse using #SkyMoth to automatically crosspost to both sites.
BSky has great uptake, but some long-term risks; this is an essentially cost-free way to grow the #fediverse.

Testing out #Skymoth, that will mirror toots to #Bluesky => https://skymoth.app

@i Nice! Thanks for sharing! I am curious to know why @avocadoom is not developing it “with self-hosting in mind” 👀
Personally, I would immediately install a #Skymoth package for #YunoHost, if there was one.

If you're using skymoth.app you may currently experience some inconsistencies in reposts. This is unfortunately due to some instances hitting a rate limit for an unknown reason.
I am already investigating and hope to resolve the problem soon.

Oof. I know it's in active development and isn't production ready yet, but I really hate how #BridgyFed handles CWs when it bridges your posts to BS... Right now all it does is post the CW without any of the actual content of the toot.
I do like that it can properly handle threads tho - replies to self are linked just like they are on Fedi. #SkyMoth still can't handle replies to self properly.
I'm really hoping one or both bridges will eventually implement smart threading for posts that are too long for BS... SkyMoth *sorta* does this today, but I wish it'd add a counter like I used to do manually when making a thread on Twitter... Basically add tags like [1/3], [2/3], etc to each post that it had to split for BS. Bridgy handles this by simply truncating the post to the BS character limit and then linking back to Fedi, which I kinda like but it's definitely sub-optimal imo.
*sighs* I really wish it was easier for our two worlds to interact with each other. I vastly prefer how Fedi works but I really don't want to lose touch with friends that prefer BS... It's so fucking frustrating. :dragnsad:
