Today I had my first taste of needing to manually install a proprietary driver for my hardware on Linux.

Rough first SDL2 code to just draw on a window manually. I've discovered that SDL2 can't really give me the scaling factor from the OS [pic1], that's fine, as I don't want to be 'stretching' bitmaps into a blurry mess, rather everything is drawn as lines and boxes and when the scale is increased we can increase the spacing without the lines being fractional [pic2] and above some scale factor (e.g. 4k screens), switch to thicker lines as well [pic3] (there are bugs with this, lol :P)

I dropped $10 on @simonbs's #Runestone app to draft a manually-typed-URL-heavy email reply that iOS Outlook kept mangling. It saved me from throwing my phone across the room so money well spent!
Aside from needing to re-add line breaks after copy-pasting my text from Runestone into Outlook I'd say I'm optimistic about Runestone. I need to try out some more of its feature, if nothing else to see how well it works as a Markdown editor 🤔

Using autocad r12 on mac os 9.2.2
Had to manually increase allowable ram to enable rendering. Seems amazingly backwards for an OS from 2001.
Is this a thing with os 9 or is it only for old 68k programs?

An optimized Nodegraph in #Godot for pathfinding purposes :) each node is manually placed inside #trenchbroom (there are plans to automate this later on). My zombie is able to walk on these lines with the #astar class that Godot provides :D . This is inspired by Half-Life and I'll save the data as a resource in order to minimize load times (~800 nodes take about ~45 seconds), inspired by the AIN files :) . I'm happy with the result and flying monsters shouldn't be a problem at all anymore :D
