  1. What an excellent podcast! 🤌

Viktor Frankl's grandson talks about the search for meaning. There's tons of great resources and tips here. In Logotherapy meaning comes from 3 parts: creating something for the world, significant personal experience from the world, and our confrontation with suffering.

  2. World Carnivore month!

I've followed the carnivore diet for the last year. I know this will sound extreme, but it's all animal products. No plants. Mostly meat. For the most part I've eaten two pounds of meat and 4 eggs per day.

There's a reason why people make this their whole personality or rave about it. It's genuinely radicalizing. I've never felt better.

I made a list on my website on the many ways it's changed my life for the better.

  4. Chris is a creator from Estonia. I found him posting interesting videos on AI and philosophy in Facebook groups. I'm amazed at how much we agree on. Originally this video was meant to be an introduction. There were no plans to post, but we both enjoyed the conversation so much. Topics include AGI, AI alignment, the singularity, the experience machine, complexity, and more.

  7. Discussing Neuralink before it comes to a brain near you! Neuralink recently unveiled its V0.9 prototype of its brain-machine interface. Wild claims are circulating like can Neuralink read your thoughts, store your memories, or allow you to control a robot body. Why did Elon Musk invest $100 million of his own money to help fund Neuralink? Many people I know had no idea what Neuralink is or where it's at.

"This paper introduces the concept of a vulnerable world: roughly, one in which there is some level of technological development at which civilization almost certainly gets devastated by default...A general ability to stabilize a vulnerable world would require greatly amplified capacities for preventive policing and global governance."
