I advocate that some basic supervision, as defined by #NickBostrom, be done in layers by other LLMs.

You could have twin capability machines supervising each other with different alignment training. (any number really)

But simpler and simpler layers might be harder to trick, and be programed to more easily alert.

Ultimately, a layered heterogeneous supervisor-manager pattern is most likely.

So in someways just like a teacher will teach English or Math but not both.
We might create anti-racist AIs, anti-ageist, anti-sexist ones, and then you might layer anti-anti-ageist AIs, etc… to prevent the AIs from going to far.
