System GrapheneOS otrzymał nową funkcję, która uniemożliwia aplikacjom czytanie zawartości schowka.
Funkcja „Secure Paste” znacznie wzmacnia bezpieczeństwo i jest dostępna od września 2026091700

add per-app toggle for disallowing apps reading the clipboard with a global toggle to make it the default (forces pasting via the OS selection toolbar, keyboard apps, keyboard shortcuts or accessibility services)

Keyboard: add paste chip to offer pasting recently copied content when there's nothing else to show as an option

    Domyślnie funcja jest WYŁĄCZONA

    Aktywacja

    ⚙️ Settings -> Security&Privacy -> Privacy controls -> Clipboard access -> Default access for third-party apps -> Paste only

    Lub indywidualnie dla każdej aplikacji:

    • App info -> Clipbard access

[...]Signal just rolled out centralized backups, and the guy who announced it has quite the resume. Jim O'Leary, Signal's VP of Engineering since 2019, spent the previous eight years building surveillance infrastructure at Twitter and Facebook.[...]

    Check out this video:
The Surveillance Architect Running Signal Engineering

[...]Now he's implementing Signal's new backup system that stores your entire message history on their servers, protected by a single key you're supposed to write down somewhere. No local backup option. Just centralized storage with paid tiers creating financial records through payment processors.
Signal knew their desktop encryption keys were stored in plaintext for six years and only fixed it after public outrage. Commercial forensics tools routinely decrypt Signal databases from seized devices. Yet instead of fixing these fundamental security issues, they're building centralized repositories of user communications under the guidance of Facebook's former surveillance architect.[...]

    Do local backups only.

  9. It's not very active in this snippet, but we have a sizeable goanna or lace-monitor (Varanus varius) wandering around in our backyard today - maybe 2.5m of relentless carnivore.

It was driving the magpies and butcherbirds crazy - no doubt it raids nests and steals eggs and babies.

Important to make sure all the doors are closed...

J'espère que ça aidera les personnes qui veulent en apprendre davantage, et plus tard dans la série les personnes qui souhaitent s'y lancer.

Preneur de retours bien sûr. Je publie peu, je lis beaucoup, j'aimerais m'améliorer :)

  13. This week’s Minoan Tarot cards help us find beauty in the world and lean into our personal power as we navigate these Interesting Times. This deck is my creation, made the old-fashioned way (ink on paper) and available at bookstores everywhere.

Lady of Rhytons: This card represents the dreamer, the one who views the world through the lace curtains of romance and fancy. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It means refusing to be restricted to the hard-edged practicality of day-to-day life while recognizing and valuing the beauty inherent in all people and situations. The dreamer is the one who finds ways to hope, to see the positive side of life, and to enjoy the simple things. This doesn’t mean the person is incapable of addressing the realities of daily life, simply that they find something deeper and lovelier in their worldview. This is a precious quality in a world that often values the bottom line over artistic expression and intrinsic beauty.

The High Priest: The High Priest stands for outward action (the animus or intellect). He is the ultimate expression of all four suit card Priests combined. He approaches problems via thought and reason. The four suit symbols are all around him, available for his outward use as tools. He’s capable of using them all appropriately as needed. In a reading, the High Priest is telling you to pay attention to where your abilities lie and what you really want to do with your life, and take action accordingly. This card is about finding your personal power and using it to manifest your life path. What you think of yourself and how you envision who you really are shapes what you think you’re capable of. The secret of this card is that you’re probably capable of far more than you think.

For those who are new to these card draws, each week I pull one card from the top of the deck and a second card from the bottom. The top-of-the-deck card (the first one, on the left) gives us some helpful hints about how to navigate our week. The bottom-of-the-deck card (the second one, on the right) is the “secret treasure” that can help us find joy in these Interesting Times.

  14. Curiosities of Amersham in England !!!

This time took my road warrior skills to go again to jolly England with the Le Shuttle train service (see post), and my Ford ; towing along my good boys and wonderful Rex! It was a very nice trip going into the countryside and seeing several towns of wonderul architecture and history, This one is a must and one of our highlights of the trip, we were back, and it seems even better !! Therefore, let me tell you about curiosities of Amersham in England !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

The town of Amersham is located in Buckinghamshire district of England, There are two distinct areas: Old Amersham, and Amersham-on-the-Hill, We were by Old Amersham and its wonderful ! Again, easy on and off major highways to take us to all we needed to see and more, We enjoyed the countryside setting and the friendly townspeople we met,

The Crown Inn Amersham is a sister property to the one we ate see below and here they can accommodate 4 persons in a room and allow pets, The property features a range of flexible meeting rooms, each equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, high-speed internet access, and adaptable seating arrangements, ensuring a productive working environment. For leisure, guests can enjoy comfortable lounge areas and a charming courtyard. In addition, the property offers parking, high-quality accommodation, and concierge services.

The Kings Arms hotel has a bar and restaurant we tried and was superbe, Seasonal British ingredients handled with care, menus that change with what’s good, and a dining room that invites you to take your time. Whether it’s a quiet lunch, a long dinner, or a table for the whole family , the restaurant and bar at The Kings Arms is the kind of place where good things happen naturally. They have Mahou beers of Madrid on drafts;our heaven !

We, also, purchase groceries items for late night snacks in our lodging at the Tesco Superstore at 19 London Road West and ,also, filled up gas/petrol cheapest around at 1,999 pounds or 2,331 euros per liter, We found Mahou Madrid beers here and Captain Morgan rum spices that took home plenty ! Tesco Travel Money Amersham is conveniently located inside our store so you can easily exchange currency We did not needed it as they ,also, have an ATM machine inside and we get best rates from our French bank option travel ! We have followed Tesco all over England wherever we are and they are the best, period,

We passed by historical Frith House at 24 Hight Street, Built in the 16C or early 17C, with modifications and refacing in the 19C, In early 17C was used to provide work for poor women making linen products. In 1789, was occupied by a lace dealer named William Morten. By 1901 was described as a “Trimming Factory”. Later years, operated as an antique shop before becoming a private residence, It is locally thought that Beatrix Potter visited the house in 1905 and created two paintings inspired by it, The famous Lilliput Lane miniature model Sugar & Spice (PYO) is based directly on Frith House

The generous width of Old Amersham’s High Street reflects its medieval tradition of weekly markets and an annual ‘chartered’ fair, rights granted by King John in 1200. It is still possible to distinguish the long, thin plots known as burgages on the south side of the High Street which were rented to tradesmen. Their houses lined the street at the front of these plots, with the rear used for workshops, livestock and cultivation. The south side was controlled by the borough and residents could vote for two Members of Parliament to which the borough was entitled. The Lord of the Manor, therefore, made sure this was an area of good repute in order to reap votes for family members. Today, this area is a popular residential area featuring many barn conversions and cottages. On each side of the street are historic façades in a variety of styles, with 18C stucco and brick, Medieval timber frames and a row of gables at the east end. It is here that you will find the Market Hall, (see post) built in 1682 as a gift to the townsfolk from the Drake family. Old Amersham was on the stagecoach network until the arrival of rail travel, and you can see an example of a coaching inn at the King’s Arms Hotel at No.30 (see above), which dates back to the 1400s. The façade of this building was used in Four Weddings and A Funeral (1994), which was filmed in the Crown Hotel further along the street.(see above)
