This is all on top of the 13 people I know personally who have had #COVID during the past 2 months, myself included.
I wonder what it's going to take for our government and our society to do something.
(This is a rhetorical wondering.)
Spouse got boosted yesterday. Doc says I can get it as soon as I feel better. So I'm hoping for Friday, for me and 11yo both. 🤞
It's bad out there, y'all. #MaskUp, #VaxUp, #GetBoosted, and stay as safe as you're able. 🖖

Today's #COVIDBooster update
Haven't felt too bad today. No aches, no fever. Still very little energy, but more than yesterday. My back hurts, but pretty sure that's unrelated. Can't tell if the neck pain is from back pain radiating; or from swollen lymph node at the base of my neck on side where I got the shot; or from a combo.
Hopeful I'll feel well enough to visit UPS for pricing on mailing a painting to @SrRochardBunson! 🤞

#CovidBooster update
I'm now 21 hours in. Woke up this morning feeling tired but otherwise not too bad. Body aches started shortly before noon. I checked my temp at 2pm and it was 99.1 -- my normal temp is 97.7. Yeah, I'm one of those. Took some Tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol), which is finally helping a little.
Currently advising 11yo on her ideas of how she'd survive without adults in the event of an #apocalypse.

#CovidBooster in the HOUSE
And by house I mean my body.
If anyone needs me, I'll be languishing waifishly and bingeing Netflix for the next couple of days. 😫

@BlackAzizAnansi I'll admit, I got lax on masking. My reward was a nasty case of the flu that had me down and out for two whole weeks. I'm now back to masking in public spaces, and I'm hoping to get my COVID booster on Friday.

Went to #yoga today for the first time in 2 months. This showed me just how unbendy my body has gotten during illness. So frustrating to lose so much of last year's progress! I know I'll get it back, but I'm still irritated at the situation.
You know you're tired and worked hard when you fall asleep during shavasana. 😆
Now for lunch and a good soak in a hot bath of Epsom salts!

Went to #Zumba today for the first time in 7 weeks. In case you haven't been watching along, I had covid and then a secondary viral infection and was sick for a total of 6 weeks (minus 4 days post-covid). I loved being back at Zumba, but it was hard. The stamina and the ease of movement were definitely absent. Thank All That's Good and Right in the Universe for muscle memory!
And yes, I wore a mask for the entire class.
