So... I ended up spending the hours around midnight all the way until 09:00 in the ER for my allergy.
I got #antihistamines IV which... is a first.
It sucked, but the people in the hospital were nice and now I feel very good and my symptoms aren't even 20% of what I experienced the day before. Got a five day prescription to run through here in the next coming days... What an adventure. Glad it's over

I have also discovered, on reading the Patient Info Leaflet, that my Loratadine (anti-histamine) may induce drowsiness (not unexpected), and also *sleeplessness*, rather more unexpected. I'd noticed on the nights when I sub in Cetirizine when I've finished a 15-count card of Loratadine, I've slept better; last night I just didn't take anything, and slept beautifully, with only one short waking period - AND I didn't need to get up to go to the loo! OK, I'll stick to one Loratadine a day in the mornings, then! The GP had suggested I could/should take 2 a day (or even 3 if needed), as there's an allergic component to my asthma.

Sent off our #allergy test today.
It is surprisingly tricky to tear your hairs out by the roots. 😂
Kept pulling it, going “Ooch!” And seeing nothing between thumb and finger.
Got mine eventually, then had to pull Sylvie’s for her as she couldn’t grip it tightly enough.
So, next week, we should find out what allergies we actually have. It’ll be interesting, and take some of the guesswork away.

Bad news: my night last night was crap.
Good news: I'm no longer on my antihistamines. My allergies haven't resurfaced, but that may explain my shitty night. This is good news because I had stopped taking THC at night due to a bad interaction between THC and my antihistamines.
So... I'll probably try taking THC again tonight. A very small dab on a mint.
