It was a good strategy to get my flu shot the day after a strenuous long day of physical labour, 'cuz many of my muscles are already sore.
So now the vax shoulder is feeling sore but it just blends into the general hum of sore muscles. 😂

One day post #vaccines. I've been extra sleepy this afternoon, and achy in various joints. It feels almost like running a fever but without the increased temp. Both upper arms are sore, especially the left, which got two shots.
All of these symptoms are normal for me the day after a #flu or #covid shot. They're possibly exacerbated by the aftermath of the glorious #massage I got this morning.
Lots of #water, and I'm resting.

Got my annual flu shot a couple hours ago. As the pharmacist was telling me as she was preparing the needle and dose for me sitting there, she mention she was “giving me the higher dose flu shot”. I said oh, the one only the older Seniors get? She blushed and we both laughed. Alrighty then.
Next week Covid booster after they receive a prescription for me from my family doc. Seems suddenly yesterday the State of Arizona decided ALL people getting it have to have a prescription. I wonder why. I can’t even guess the reason.

The campaign highlighted how the seasonal vaccines can prevent influenza infections from becoming severe or life-threatening. It used animals as an analogy for the diminished threat of the flu virus after vaccination, juxtaposing a lion and a domestic kitten in one ad while showing an elephant and a mouse in another. The CDC page no longer leads to a 'not found' landing page, but it wasn't restored either. It now redirects to a 2023 article announcing the campaign, which does not contain the shareable resources found on the original page. The removal is startling given that the US is currently battling one of the worst flu seasons in 15 years."
