The #DGR was great. Very friendly crowd, about 40 bikes way up here. Lots of cool vintage stuff.
Great hospitality at the start and finish too.
Unfortunately my lower back did not enjoy wrestling the #Ural around the rolling hills of rural VT all afternoon. Now maxed out on Advil and flat on my back at the hotel. Hopefully better tomorrow b/c I have to drive 4 hours home.
Worth it tho. Still smiling.

Kein Ende der Evakuierungen in Ural-Region
Die #Hochwasserkatastrophe in der Grenzregion zwischen #Russland und #Kasachstan weitet sich aus. Am Mittwoch berichtete die staatliche Nachrichtenagentur TASS, dass der über die Ufer getretene #Ural in der russischen Großstadt #Orenburg bereits Hunderte Häuser überflutet hat. Weiter flußabwärts in Kasachstan wurden laut Regierungsangaben bereits mehr als 96.000 Menschen in Sicherheit gebracht.
