If @kagihq made a dedicated maps app, I’d happily replace both #AppleMaps and #GoogleMaps, at least for search/discovery.
Add simple, reliable turn-by-turn directions, saved places, and privacy-forward iOS Calendar events sync? I’d happily pay a monthly subscription.
Tired of Google’s surveillance, ads, and crowded interface. Tired of Apple’s incomplete search results and laggy performance (and upcoming ads). (#TransitApp you can do no wrong, but sadly need car directions in Texas.)

When #metrotransitmn upgrades the 6 to the E this winter, the scoreboard on #transitapp will go away. So while I still have the chance for it, I'm trying to get to the number one contributor spot on the scoreboard!

#TransitApp developed an ML model that uses accelerometer data of the train movements to predict location while underground. All on-device.

Taking a bus from #NYC to #Boston, leaving from #PortAuthority. I head out to catch the bus with enough time for two scheduled #MTA M34A-SBS buses before my bus home. The first M34A comes on time. Halfway through the trip, it pulls over and the driver announces the emergency brake is broken and we have to transfer to the next bus.
I nervously watch #TransitApp as it counts down the next bus to 0... and then it never shows up.
I end up walking more than a half mile dragging a 50lb suitcase.
