"Signs – thousands of them – remind riders that TriMet service is changing on Aug 23" by #TriMet (Portland 3-county metro area transit) - One week until #transit cuts in #Portland #Oregon, warning signs going up at affected stops. Among other cuts, the biggest is MAX Green🟢 Line light rail🚋 ending at Gateway in East Portland. When I got off at Providence Park, I also thanked the Black man for his generosity and for helping everyone on the train (some who are perhaps on their way to the airport). I also submitted a complaint to #TriMet that the operator was unnecessarily antagonistic and should’ve provided transfer information, considering that he is the paid employee, and not me.

I’ll try to carry a bit of cash from now on, because apparently on some days I have to be the person to stand up and diffuse a situation 🫠

Well, #TriMet and the #TransitApp cost me 2 hours of wasted time and $15 in cancellation fees today, which should be added to the costs of living #carFree… what a way to start the week 🙃

I got up at 5:40 to get to a 7:30 strength training class and made it all the way from Beaverton to #Portland Pioneer Square South, but only found the bus when it passed me by. Why the fuck do they make their temporary bus stop signs absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to find!? Maybe I should buy a car, after all…

#TriMet (Portland 3-county metro area transit) announced its web site's bus/rail route info and trip planner tool have been updated for the previously announced Aug 23 service cuts. 33 bus routes are changed or reduced, a few eliminated. Join TriMet this April in bidding farewell to the original MAX train" by TriMet - #TriMet (3-county #Portland metro area #transit agency) will hold a public event to mark the last Type 1 MAX light rail cars. Type 1's have operated since MAX light rail opened in 1986. The event will be 3pm Sat Apr 18 at Holladay Park next to NE 11th Ave/Lloyd Center MAX station. It's going to be interesting because I'm going to try to take #TriMet from Beaverton to the East side of the river and the protest is scheduled for tomorrow.

Die dabei jährlich genutzten 31.000 MWh decken rechnerisch den #Wärmebedarf von über 5.500 Haushalten in #Essen, #Bottrop und #Gelsenkirchen. Möglich wurde das durch #Wärmetauscher an den #Elektrolyseöfen und technische Anpassungen im Werk.
