If you're wondering why all the #AMD #Threadripper 9000-series reviews use the same #Silverstone XE-360 #AIO, that's because it's the ONLY compatible 3rd party cooler on the market. Not the only AIO. The ONLY cooler. Period. #AMD may be faster than #Intel but their ecosystem needs a lot of work

@stfn yeah, apart from my server. As a software developer myself I'm looking into a threadripper system as a workstation pc. It has a huge price tag indeed, and the previous threadripper socket was already abandoned. So don't expect the same long term support for their sockets like their ryzen sockets.

If you want cheap CPUs within a server environment look at Intel Xeon systems. Especially those refurbished Xeons are a steal.
