tbh, I'm fed up with #Meta and basically everything they do. I don't use #FaceBook anyway, but I'm really 5 seconds before just simply deleting my #Instagram account because I don't use it anyway and don't need the pile of spyware...
Fully quitting WhatsApp will kill the last bit of inclusion I have left probably, but as soon as I see an ad or any other evidence of AI or other crap using my shit, be it on my device or wherever, I'll delete the app from my main phone, use a #Matrix bridge and only log in once in the required 14-day limit from a spare phone. Each day I read bullshit about this company, every day I have to admit I still use their garbage. So come on, get people off #Instagram and to #PixelFeed, get them off #WhatsApp and to #Signal or any other messenger to take seriously. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it has to be tried at least.

I have to chose between learning how to move my posts on #pixelfeed into a new server since the admin doesn't like anything other than english, norwegian or english posted there.

And here I am thinking the IG and Meta apps sucked!

I really have to find a way to set up my own #server, both for #friendlica and pixelfeed, I just wait until I have my final home and then set up a small server with raid disk to have my email, social media and personal data mirrored into my #pcloud server as backup.

So no more #google, #meta, or mini dictators on local servers controlling my data.

I have to find a new #pixelfeed home, my current pod doesn't allow posting in anything other than #English.

Funny the admin didn't complain when I posted in #French or #Swedish, but it seems like #Farsi is not okay with them...

I see "no preview available" a lot right now in the #pixelfeed feed. Anyone else has that issue or knows about it?

Not sure about what causes it, I saw some from pixelfed.social, and I am on pixelfed.de but both run on v0.12.4.

First time I saw it was when I uploaded a video (which has a preview meanwhile, not sure how long it took).

But now it's also images. Saw it on a post that is 21h old, would be odd that preview generating takes that long?

Do you understand what weeks or months of labor looks like? If no #ad revenue, if no #superchat, if no #donate button, then why even make the effort?!
