  3. Organising a (conference-style) workshop @YoMosEco : Getting all kinds of heavy admin tasks done like coming up with a budget plan or a schedule for the week; but also constantly forgetting that I have to formally apply and send an abstract just like everybody else 😅

  5. Just trying to get ready to make some big #PhD progress by learning how to use #obsidian along with some new #Zotero plugings. Found this video super helpful: youtube.com/watch?v=tZ7utIV5zn. Feeling about 50% set up to start doing my case studies. #PhDchatter

  6. Perhaps you can help a reader who asked, "Could you please suggest me a doctoral [program] in #nonWestern #culture, thought [or] #philosophy?"

Reshare and/or comment below if you have ideas (or know people who have ideas).

  10. I have come back from campus feeling super positive. I have signed up for so much training and personal development stuff over the next few months and I seem to be more settled in with my supervisors and ready to start work than some other people in my cohort. Must devote some time to updating my #kanban board in the morning to keep myself on track #PhDLife #PhDChatter #PhD

  11. @ResearchEquals

    Welcome!

It's not only numbers that matter 😉 Here on Mastoton you get a lot of engagement by real and nice people.

Tip: describe what you are doing, introduce yourself. From your website it wasn't clear to me, although your manifesto sounds interesting.

  13. A consequence of my ongoing training is that I’m always looking for information-dense sentences & paragraphs. As a result, it has become hard for me to enjoy most of the blogpost or pop books!

I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Because my reading preferences influence my writing style. Before starting the PhD program, I was someone who liked to write for the general public. Now I wonder if I attempt to write for general public I’ll be successful.
