About to have a week away from the office. Realizing the my state of "ready to go in the day" being way ahead of my wife before she has coffee. Could be a stressor on the marriage.

Been three weeks coffee free. First week was hard, but now I can feel the difference. I don't feel tired anymore after lunch, or afternoon. In the evening, I feel it's time to go sleep (around 11pm). I wake up without alarm at 6h30 and not sluggish. I found my circadian rhythm!!!

I just had two posts #censored from mastodon.social. I will never know the real reason, but both were just the longest possible sequence of tags, to reach and be visible to a large audience. I suspect what ticked the hammer off were tags referring to "prohibited" substances. namely #thc #weed #marijuana #LSD #acid #tryptamine #hallucinogenic. the posts were deleted without informing me even though I was also using tags such as "moderation" and "noalcohol" in the same post. why is it forbidden to talk positively about these blissful compounds that nature gifts us, while hyperconsumption of #alcohol, #nicotine and #coffee is normalized and even encouraged, and the elite is allowed to indulge unquestioned, including #public #officials?

Feeling a bit frustrated. Coffee machine isn't stopping heating when it hits 93°C. Giving it some time off (not too long) before I try again.

Crazy how much impact caffeine has. I skipped my #coffee today and am very tired now at 8 PM. I'm going to start an experiment and go without coffee for a week, since i don't have the right equipment to make coffee in my new accommodation anyway. Unless I drink this sweetened 3 in 1 crap.

@[email protected] @Gina @[email protected] @mike The unfortunate fact is that caffeine addiction is still an addiction, which is unfortunately hyped up as normal behavior by a huge swath of society.
I am lucky that my stomach is just too weak for coffee, so I got my caffeine addiction experience with black tea, which I could luckily get rid of relatively easily during university in about a week. #NoCoffee #NoCaffeine
