#zshq squaddies, the #zombies are getting the best of me. I'm keepin' on keepin' on with lung cancer. I was diagnosed in December 2024. Here it is March 2026 and I'm still here. Servant says I'm one brave, tough greyhound.

Six months is median life expectancy at diagnosis. I seem to have drawn a long straw.

I'm not eating well and losing weight but not ready to cross the bridge. Im comfortable mostly, coughing some. "Blood Support for Dogs" helps.

I’m keeping on keepin’ on as best I can. I spent the night with minion, went out, then settled here where it is warm.

At bedtime, I drank a lot of water that i tossed up. There was a nice bit of clotted venous blood about the size of a Ritz cracker in it. Servants also found some yellow gastric juice on the back garden entry rug. #greyhounds #LungCancer

Anyway, I’m still comfortable and active. Minion is mostly recovered from his bladder and kidney biopsy procedure. This coming week he gets CAT scanned, and blood drawn for genetic sequencing and checks for hereditary cancer risk factors. #check_in
