I like to think that wherever George is now, the body of water is just the right depth, the sun never quite sets, and most importantly of course, the tip of his tail remains dry.

One thing I didn’t expect about #whippets versus #greyhounds (or maybe it’s just Comet!) is that she wants physical contact CONSTANTLY. She shoves her body into me, her head into my hand when I’m standing, she wants me to pet and cuddle her nonstop, like none of my whippets ever have

There’s a baseball field that is often deserted when I run in the mornings, and I’m able to let Comet off the leash for a bit and it makes her SO ECSTATIC #greyhounds

I'm back home now after 16 days looking after Spot and Dolly. Love those hounds, two of my absolute faves, no trouble at all. Their humans very happy to know they are cared for and have asked me to do it again in 2027. ❤️

Spot was attacked by an off-lead yellow labrador on our walk this morning. Fortunately the owner managed to grab the dog before it was able to break skin, though I'm told it's the same dog that a few weeks ago did attack him and draw blood. Spot's humans are going to report the guy to the dog warden.
Spot's fine - he seemed to have forgotten about the incident within 30 seconds.
