my latest sound work is a track I contributed to the "Access Frame: Authority" compilation we (@kamizdat) released on #NetLabelDay2024 (14/JULY).
Possibly you can't understand the lyrics, but they mean a lot to me.

August 4 come discuss the next steps for #netlabelday. What did we get right for #netlabelday2024 ? Where can we improve for #netlabelday2025 ?
August 11, come discuss the general future for #netlabels and #ccmusic (or more specifically @friendsofccmusic ...but if you like CC Music, you're a friend and should come!)

A huge "thank you" for all the #netlabelday #netlabelday2024 aficionados in the wild who dared to visit our website in this very special month.
Just in case you missed the release, it's at https://cremroad.com/?album=Live%20From%20A%20Room
Currently for July we had "at our home" about 190 listens and nearby 900 video views, cuz' this year's release comes along with a full "Live From A Room" #lofi #singersongwriter video.
It's soooo nice to see there's still people involved in the #ccmusic #netlabel scene nowadays

This year we have started our #NetLabelDay event with some discussion before the concerts. We believe this was a very nice peek into the subject of 'commons' netlabels and also a foregrounding of issues that matter on a day such as this (and for the rest of the year, of course!).
Thanks for participating @knrd and @setto !!

If you loved #netlabelday2024 so much that you want to get involved, we have a debrief on August 4. Or maybe you hated it & want to fix it?
We will meet @ https://meet.jit.si/ccmusic
The meeting will be available afterwards on YouTube & https://dalek.zone/c/cc_community_music_awards/videos?s=1 #PeerTube
Also, August 11 we will meet to discuss general @friendsofccmusic stuff (I guess we need a new account, huh?)
Lmk if you are interested in either meeting and I will send you a calendar invite.

Attempting truth, one tries many things. Up, down, left, right, directions that are seemingly expansive yet form a stricture we wish to free ourselves of. What is a diagonal pitch? Can things overlap, separately? And what exists beyond the horizon of the manifest?
Featuring clarinet "sightreading" (improvisationally interpreting) the cover image, itself titled "True Glimpses 1" by Franziska Baumann (franziskabaumann.ch).

Happy #NetlabelDay2024!
To celebrate the commons, I am releasing "Jazzaria 2024-H1" - a compilation of my tracks from the first half of the year, interspersed with some robot narration about the project.
You can play the album here - https://jazzaria.com/compilations/2024-H1.m3u
If you want to download it (or any other Netlabel day releases) go to - https://netlabelday.org/netlabel-day-2024/
I'll still be uploading my regular weekly track later, which I suppose we can also call part of Netlabel Day if we want 😁

I PRed my 80k, 90k, and 100k today...and I feel like garbage. Too hot.
In any case, maybe I will write some #netlabelday2024 stuff, maybe I won't
-
this #netlabelday2024 FAQ is not going to get finished today, but I did start it
-
@lorenzosmusic this might be something of interest for you. it sounds like the release will be after #netlabelday2024 so probably not the right timing for me.
@alainamartin lmk if you want to record something in August
-
I am re-recording one of my #netlabelday2024 sets and I have the song up in three places and...it is at three different points in the song 😆
-

Perhaps this weekend I will be re-record the show I did for #netlabelday2024. Orange Cliff has some weird stuff going on with YouTube, as does whoever recorded Moki McFly's live session. I'll have to cut those tracks. Plus, their were audio issues
-
We have made some progress with the #netlabelday2024 #DJ list, but there are still a bunch of spots left on Day 1. Slot 6 is 5pm Central European Summer Time (11am US Eastern). Someone in #France #Germany #Spain #England #Wales #Scotland #Ireland #Canada #Portugal and many other countries should be up during that time.
If you have questions, ask! Sets can be pre-recorded!

could probably do my Bicyclists on Bikes talking Bullshit idea walking but my last 8 videos on #peertube got a max of 1 view so what's point?
I'm struck by the fact that we need to get people away from screens, but events are incredibly expensive and difficult to plan if you don't have a house. We could do something small in our 1200 square feet but nothing loud. I'm still waiting to hear back from @ryno about #netlabelday2025, but maybe it makes sense to think about that after #netlabelday2024
-
I made an instructional video for signing up to DJ #Netlabelday2024 and then I play some tunes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aNGYtRb034

@cairobraga @wiloma not sure about the Netlabel Day site. might be an option.
I also wonder what the options are for running a list through WordPress are. Perhaps something to discuss at the #NetlabelDay2024 debrief on August 4.
