Manja Ristić and Mark Vernon bring us a haunting electroacoustic journey built from Belgrade’s forgotten sonic debris. At the heart of this soniferous exploration are found tapes salvaged from flea markets, carefully interwoven with field recordings made between 2004 and 2024 and processed on the legendary EMS Synthi 100 at the Electronic Studio of Radio Belgrade. From this unlikely conjunction, sombre compositional structures emerge. Abandoned sonic relics are transformed into living memory, and fragments of lives on the brink of oblivion become an intimate portrait of a city shaped by upheaval, resilience, and tenderness.

A new @kamizdat merch is finally available on #Bandcamp - it's one of the most beautiful ones until now - also iT's (Irena Z. Tomažin) album is amazing (and her stage piece of the same name).
This one was designed by amazing Mina Fina (of Ee group fame) in collaboration with the artist, and printed, glued and hand bound by our all-time collaborator Maruša Hren.
Limited edition of 50 only.
As always with our #Kamizdat releases, music is accessible to anyone under a #CreativeCommons licence (kopimi!) and with Name-Your-Price, but for those who want to hold a physical thing in their hands, we make these limited editions for many of our releases - and they of course cost a bit.
Needless to say, these are going really fast - 20 of them are already gone.. about 20 remain for purchase over Bandcamp

OKA and beepblip will take us into fields of displaced voices, songs and soundscapes, and into the field of rhythmogogy, the random algorithmic rhythms of slime moulds.

regarding the lecture - it was in Slovene, 30mins. it was titled 'Creative Commons in 2025' and I feel it would be great to turn it into a mid-sized article/blogpost (in English)
also, i realised #Kamizdat turned 20 this year

it was a pretty busy day yesterday
I'm getting up today with a sense of achievement, although not everything went as it should have
but it was surprisingly full place, i managed to pull off a decent lecture, streaming worked (ok, some mono-stereo shenanigans), got loads of positive feedback, the music acts were amazing, the light was great, sound perfect, zine was printed and sewn...
not vacations yet, but last event pre-summer is behind us

announcing our annual regular IRL+stream #NetLabelDay concert on 14JUL at 20:00 CEST. sonic appearances by maestro @rob Canning, and Two Round Robins. my live appearance is in form of a short lecture on #netAudio and #ccmusic. i'm encouraged to do it in english, but i'm not yet decided.
