started using #LineageOS on my SGS20+ today:

Counted:
- 48 of the 95 apps installed from #FDroid (= open source)
- another 8 open-source apps installed through the #Aurora Store
- and almost a dozen open-source apps sideloaded

That brings the proportion of FOSS apps on this device to ~80 percent.
Not bad at all!

Hacking a headphone by removing the mic and plugin the line of a music box to play sound through a #discord or #mumla channel.
Need the characteristics of a headphone otherway input is not recognized as mic.
Had to put a capacitor to block DC voltage and a 10k resistor to lower the level near 100mV.

Btw look at the size of the headset mic. Need to replace it with 1.5k resistor to keep the system recognised as a mic 🎤

last night some friend and I tried some apps for audio conferencing:

#Mumla — it didn't worked well for me, several seconds of latency, it was probably related to a bad setup of the server that was done by a friend, but also mumla rendered quite unresponsive/frozen/slow, need to retry

#Jami — it was somewhat fine but the call failed sometimes or a member got dropped from the call

#jitsimeet — jitsi meet was the best, and it is easy to create rooms from within #DeltaChat, sadly not in groups

@nebunez indeed, it took more time to get my friends to install and configure #mumla on android ...

Just messed around with #Uberspace and set up a #Mumble server. Sweet!

Btw, there now is a maintained Mumble client for #Android called #Mumla (a fork of #Plumble): https://mumla-app.gitlab.io/
