Today i tried #nfc automation with #tasker app just a simple one. When I bring the #nfc tag to the phone it will open my #fedilab mastodon app. It is so cool.

The phone need to be unlocked to this work. Tried when it is locked not worked for me.

Just dipping the toes in #tasker, soon will start to automate lots of stuff.

The next release of #Fedilab will handle refreshes correctly with reversed timelines, especially the pull to refresh.
The #HolosSocial PR has also been merged on #FDroid, so the build is coming very soon.

Just for information, if you have a #DeepL API key, you can perfectly use it with #Fedilab. Just search for "DeepL" in the settings. A single tap lets you customize the settings.

Fedilab is a multifunctional Android client to access the distributed Fediverse, consisting of microblogging, photo sharing and video hosting.

#fossdem2026 watching video about #UnifiedPush really interesting idea. I tried it out with #sunup #fdroid app as distributor.

I am using #fennecfox browser, #fedilab , #goguma , #fosswarn apps with it.

Only #goguma configured automatically rest I have changed in settings tab. #fosswarn - Foss warning installed after #sunup so asked after starting the app.

#tusky didn't worked for me though

Now #Fedilab and #HolosSocial use "web+ap://" to open messages or profiles inside the app, like Conversations does (https://github.com/tuskyapp/Tusky/issues/5027).

#HolosDiscover now has a dedicated button to open messages in apps supporting it.

I didn't know that #Nextcloud supports #UnifiedPush distribution. I've set that up now and for the first time my #Fedilab notifications actually work! (the default Ntfy and Murena servers never worked for me)

I really wish all the fediverse instances bring support for reactions😄. Coz now it's just a favourite button and iirc some instances like misskey etc have reactions support.
I love reactions, coz of the versatile ways to react to a toot with emojis. 😅

I see some clients like trunks, fedilab have reaction feature 🤔 so if I recat to some mastodon toots will others see the reaction?

I wrote here how to follow a complete instance timeline via @apps , which is for me an absolute killer feature.

Has any other app like @Tusky @IceCubesApp or @ivory this feature?
If yes please add it to the original thread, thank you.

On the official @Mastodon app I haven't seen this feature.

I thought the same thing but eventually I realized the app isn't loading the toot correctly after posting rather than having an issue with actually quoting. Try quoting and then view your quoted post in a browser (or wait a while as, for some reason, fedilab will actually start displaying it correctly

It always worked, but it's not working anymore.

I already deleted and reinstalled Fedilab.

I tried the official Mastodon app, and there it worked, so it's not a problem with my account.

Asking first here before filling out the bug report tomorrow.

Ich bin mit @apps #fedilab eigentlich ganz zufrieden, aber vielleicht sagt jemand ich sollte auch mal was anderes ausprobieren? Wie ist #fread @fread so? #tusky @Tusky hab ich vor Ewigkeiten mal benutzt und... Ich weiß nicht mehr warum, aber ich bin nicht hängen geblieben.

Empfehlungen? Vorschläge?
