recurring problem: found something interesting on the fediverse, opened in browser, want to go back to the post to boost it, cant find it anymore.

is there a way to recursively search for links? #fediverse i'm using #fedilab

A feature I could not offer with #Fedilab: letting people upload their own custom emojis.

It does not cost much and it is a real personalisation: these emojis belong to their owner only, separate from the instance emojis and not shared with other users. I am happy to offer it with #FediHood.

Decided to go with #fedilab for my #mastodon app on #android. Took some set up but I overall like it. Just happy to see an app for android with a strong developer team that keeps it regularly updated. Thank you #fedilab devs! ❤️

For devs who build apps on the #Mastodon API, I have started to document the dedicated endpoints for #FediHood. The common Mastodon endpoints are already supported.

@ReneHenrich Hast du #Fedilab schon mal ausprobiert? Das gibt es seit eher kurzem auch für iOS. OK, sieht auf der Webseite nicht so aus, aber @apps hat dazu was getrötet.
Ich nutze es selbst unter Android und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

I will finish #FediHood by adding device verification and key sharing for #E2EE. Currently, if you switch from a computer to a smartphone, you only see encrypted messages.
Once it's done, I will go back to #Fedilab.

If you're a moderator, you can ask #Fedilab to grant you moderator features. For that, go to the login page, tap the three dots and check "I am a moderator" and log in to your account again to get the "admin" scope. Then you will have a dedicated Admin item in the main menu of Fedilab. You will see reports and be able to take actions. That avoids switching between Fedilab and the web app.

I'll publish the source code of #FediHood under AGPL, then I'll go back to #Fedilab, with priority to bug reports and enhancements. FediHood support isn't a priority for the app right now.

Irgendwie hat mein #googlePixel7A seit ca 3 Wochen keine Push Notifications für Posts bei #FediLab mehr ausgeliefert.

Vor einiger Zeit gab es da Mal mächtige Probleme, keine Ahnung wie das damals gelöst wurde, aber dann lief es wieder einwandfrei.

Mittlerweile hatte aber niemand anders dieses Problem. Aber ich konnte es von alleine fixen: Handy ausschalten (also so richtig) und dann wieder anschalten.

Eine lokale Suche auf einem weitgehend leeren Datenbestand ist im Ergebnis zwangsläufig übersichtlich.

Relays und Tag Pushers hast Du ja schon auf dem Zettel...

Daneben fallen mir gerade noch Clients wie #Fedilab ein, die die öffentliche Zeitleiste von anderen Instanzen einbinden können, wenn ich das richtig erinnere.

I built #FediHood on the #Mastodon API, so you can connect your account with any Mastodon-compatible app, such as #Fedilab.
Fedilab will soon support the extra features at the heart of the project: finding people nearby by city via #OSM, and using #E2EE DMs.

@apps since the new release, there is a startup notification that tells me I have over 200 programed boosts that were not sent.
Looking at it, they date back to 2024 and there's no way I'm going to delete them by hand. While I appreciate knowing about the issue, I'd like to know whether there is a quick way to purge the history and thus get rid of the nagging notification 😉

Also die #FediLab App wird gefühlt immer seltsamer auf meinem Androiden. Die #Mastodon App ohnehin. Dieses ständige Neuladen des Feeds ist sehr hinderlich, um euch zu folgen. Da ich eh erstmal #Urlaub mache, sag ich mal: So long.

Und nein, ich brauche kein "Hast du schon mal...". Ja, hab ich. Dann halt nicht.

#Fedilab siempre ha sido una de mis apps preferidas.

#FediHood should be easy to use, with a very simple interface. It fully uses #ActivityPub and is compatible with the #Mastodon API (tested with #Fedilab). It will of course bring extra endpoints related to how it works. The project reuses the combined work from #HolosSocial and #PawFed.

An die #Fedilab Nutzer*innen, aktuelle Version, wenn ihr den Original Post öffnet und auf den Link klickt, öffnet sich die Website oder wieder nur der Post?

Bei mir öffnet sich immer nur der Post. Erst wenn ich den Link lange antippe, bekomme ich ein Menü und dort geht Open in Browser.

Fixing issues is a challenge. But I'm really happy, because since Marco has been here to help on #Codeberg, a lot has been fixed in #Fedilab.

Where I felt overwhelmed, he helped prioritize with categories, and even flagged high-priority issues, which helps me focus on the fixes.

He listens to you where I was lost. My bookmarks had become useless and misleading, because I couldn't keep up. That's why you now get help on this account signed Marco.

More about how moderation will work on #FediHood.

FediHood is a way to talk with people near you without telling anyone who you are or where exactly you live. It uses the #Fediverse with the #Mastodon API for common endpoints, so it already works with most apps such as #Fedilab. Moderation is at the heart of this new app on the Fedi. The success of the project depends on it.

#FediHood will use the #Mastodon API for all common endpoints, since there is no reason to break compatibility with existing apps. #Fedilab will support the new endpoints for location and filters.

#Fedilab 3.43.1 has been published. This is a small release to fix the "Catte bomb". Don't open those threads without the fix, otherwise the app will freeze :)

This release also fixes quotes in notifications where the CW couldn't be opened.
