I think a lot of the “everyone should learn to code” efforts, while well intentioned, are going to end up being a net negative. Many of the bootcamps I see being pushed on folks seeking retraining either softball it too hard with Bootstrap and HTML “fundamentals” or go “full stack” as #MERN.

Having entry-level knowledge in the two most overused webdev stacks is beyond useless. GPT 4 can probably write better code for those frameworks than the average bootcamper. We need more people in niches!

I will soon be starting to develop a new personal site using #MERN. The site will include a blog that I would like to be #ActivityPub friendly - does anyone know of any good tutorials or resources for building an activitypub friendly #cms

I spent the tail-end of last week defining a new tech stack called TERN. Well, it didn't take long to swap the "M" in #MERN to a "T" for #Tigris 😊

It didn't take much longer to port the existing MERN stack example over to TERN ⚡️
