If the evil lies in our assumptions, in our #worldview, then that is where we must start. That is why #education is the first concrete measure.
As a society, we have become entrenched in a stubborn #materialistic way of thinking. But even convinced materialists must admit that this attitude toward #nature has put our planet in danger.
So the solution lies in #rethinking. Viewing all life as something #sacred is a reasonable alternative. -
A look through the #materialistic #monism glasses
Anyone who always sees things through their own glasses (doesn't even have to be “pink”) will at some point lose sight of the big picture with all its facets. Or to put it in a more modern culturally technical way: Anyone who is always sitting in their “#filter #bubble" or “#echo #chamber" need not be surprised if at some point they have their own feedback loops in a parallel world of “#digital #tribalism"

Maybe it's just me, as a #poor and a #glutton, but I'm baffled by pizza places where a tiny ~artisinal~ pizza is like 20$/12". Even 6$ medium from #Dominos is a bit pricy for my wallet. What a different world suburban folks must inhabit, full of ephemeral but numerous #materialistic soothing purchases to chase away the greys.
