可愛動物被姨母們包圍嗎今天有個舊友臨時PM
說剛好來出差 過來看看我
這朋友是同鄉
當年因緣際會認識後才知高職時我們好一段時間搭同一部校車
緣份真的妙不可言雖然在臉書都會看到彼此動態
但 算算竟然有十年沒見了
而朋友一出現就提著大包小包遞上
新鮮食材 冷凍食品 桶升水 衛生紙
我笑翻
他說雖然不知道我的現況
但記憶中一直是個營養不良的竹竿
看了我本人後我又被嘖嘖一番：
要好好吃飯啦！下午
暢聊幾小時還沒聊夠就傍晚了
但朋友趕今天回家
理智必須出場 宴席必須停下帶著溫馨的心情
我在粉專把新手繩小品貼文亮相
寫首短詩跟客人交代我為何消失了一個月＋
我好棒好吧
害羞地首度在這露出

Look,
I sew, knit, crochet, macrame and kumihimo. I understand those things.
Still, I look at Quilts and Spun yarn, and freehand Embroidery, and Amigurumi - and my brain screams 'WHAT MAGIC IS THIS!?'What yarn / thread-craft makes your brain go 'boing' despite knowing how the fundamentals work ?
[Yes I know Amigurumi is knitting / crotchet but it's also structural sculpting which is different to flat piece or loom knitting]

Basket taking shape now!
Have ordered some padded silicone crochet hooks to see if that helps with the hand fatigue and cramping. I've a whole set of cheaper ones coming (quilted bear) and one single Tulip Etimo in the right size. A set of the Tulips runs to about £88 which is way out of my price range! I'll do a comparison when they arrive.
