Широкий вход, узкий выход: Vue 3 внутри jQuery‑формы без бесконечных циклов
Добавить на страницу новые функции, не трогая саму страницу, звучит как противоречие. Но альтернативу мы посчитали командой: полное переписывание заняло бы год, в течение которого страница не получила бы ни одной новой функции. Мост между старым кодом и новым занял два месяца, и строил его уже я один. Расскажу, как этот мост устроен, почему получился несимметричным, где чуть не зациклился и что в нём так и осталось кривым.

Gave my devs the tasks of replacing #jQuery syntax with vanilla #javascript. Rather than a one to one conversion, they handed the entire file to #Claude, and it rewrote absolutely everything.
Since I don't have the capacity to review every line of code that has been change in the next 24 hours, we have to decide between pulling the changes from this release or putting out a bunch of #AI slop.
I hate the world right now.

Since Calagator was first created circa 2009, it and Kolagator have maintained jQuery as a dependancy.
It's 2026 and probably well time to move on from jQuery.. but to what? We dont need much javascript and these days there are options for full frameworks as well as very light weight approaches.
New discussion to consider where we might go if we attempted to deprecate jQuery from the project.

I remember when it was 2013 and remade the page of TodoJuegos, a small videogame store using Bootstrap 2.
13 years later, and still does look modern and functional.
Never got an answer for the store, I believe.
