Meet #Bootimus, the #magical boot #server that promises to #PXE your life without the hassle—or any actual comprehension of what you're doing. 🤯 Just run some cryptic #docker #commands and voilà, you're booting 50 distros you didn't even ask for. Because who doesn't love a server that sets itself up like an overzealous IKEA flatpack? 🛠️

Dear companies and services I interact with: You probably don't need an app, just a good quality website, with a well developed mobile optimized version.
If I have to clutter my phone with your app, you're already pissing me off and we haven't got started yet

2/2 At least this implementation of a #passkey is a bad user experience. Total turnoff.
Yes, I can still use username and password, but now I am asked for 2FA every single time, because the system expects the doggone passkey.
In short, for low value accounts, passkeys really don't seem to be worth the #hassle.

I think there is too much faff in this country. I moved home a while back and just the hassle of having to change my address on everything is ridiculous.
Change your driving licence address or you might be fined
Update the vehicle logbook
Electoral register
Doctors
Banking
Online accounts
Ridiculous, honestly I think it's time to stop needing to give an address for this stuff. I don't even want an address 😭 I'd rather just get a little campervan or a boat 🤣

So, I've been writing for my website but not posted anything due to the silliest reason imaginable: Can't be bothered to take photos.
As a self-imposed rule, all photos are taken with Sony Mavicas, their delightful range of floppy disk cameras. Thing is, it's kind of inconvenient. Not the floppy part. That's working fine. It's the batteries that're on their way out. Two shots and it's dead. #HASSLE.
Instead I thought it was be a good compromise to pick up other quirky cameras and use whatever I like?

So, this #Handbike is being a handful (heh!)
Turns out the Elite Suito T ‘almost’ fits if you disassemble the brakes, lift the back wheels a bit -and- fiddle with the adjustment screws…
… only for it to hit the footrests and lock out.
… Not to worry …
I got a Tracx Boost Wheel-on trainer as a plan B. That’s gotta fit. Right?… Nope. The only way to mount it to the axle means the entire #bike hangs on the footrest. I’m officially #Frustrated. Being #Disabled is a #hassle.

More on the #2 issue, re: reblog thoughts misplaced in Tumblr's hashtag section.
I think #Tumblr users are misplacing their thoughts on things they are reblogging because of poor UI design. Look at the attached screengrab.
a. The hashtag section is more obvious than the body
b. It isn't clear that it's a hashtag section
c. When you type in the hashtag section, it automatically turn words into a hashtag
For (a): Make the body more obvious. The text that says, "Go ahead, put anything" should be prominent. Make it bold, full white.
Currently, the section "add tags" is brighter than "Go ahead, put anything".
For (b): Detach the hashtag section from the reblog interface/window. Maybe put it on the right side as a separate box, and add something like, "This is for hashtags, not your thoughts."
For (c): Remove the auto-hashtag feature. Make it a requirement to manually add the '#' sign.
If a Tumblr user still types in the hashtag section, they will get an error for every word without a '#' sign. In the error, you can then add, "Are you sure you want to add hashtags? If not, then add your thoughts in the body section." Or something similar.
#No #one #does #this #in #any #SNS #platform #because #it #is #a #hassle #to #add #a #hashtag #sign.
But in Tumblr, the auto-hashtag feature makes that easier. Removing this feature will make users think twice. If they still do it, well, nothing can be done about it. (Or, maybe they are using a script to auto-add the '#' sign.)
