I'm finally ready to buy yarn for Fairy Ring by Katie Green. I am getting stuck on what color for the body. I think it will look best in chocolate brown, but I don't really wear brown. Black would be more versatile. I could also do dark green. Ugh! This indecision is why I rarely start new knitting projects.

New game I played tonight:
Fairy Ring - Play cards in your garden, move around the ring, and score points based on what you land on. Cards are drafted and both you and the player's card you land on get the benefit. There was a rules mistake about scoring that skewed the results (I got last), but the game had some light strategy with drafting to maximize you points. I look forward to playing it correctly!

Diesen Monat wurde wieder viel gespielt, und dank eines Besuchs beim @brettagoge auch Spiele zu denen ich sonst vielleicht nicht so greifen würde. Aber sowohl #Slide als auch #FairyRing haben echt Spaß gemacht. Bei #Intarsia bin ich mir noch nicht so sicher, das müsste ich nochmal spielen.
Und bei #ARCS steht, nachdem wir das Grundspiel jetzt 3 mal gespielt haben, als nächstes die Kampagne an. Wird aber wohl September werden. Aber da hab ich so richtig Bock drauf.

Gay cats.

Their names are Ghost, Baby Bear, and Morbius. They're doing a fertility dance around one (1) pumpkin. This is to celebrate that we grew exactly one (1) pumpkin flower with an ovary! And hopefully their dance will help our IRL pumpkin grow. The dance is inside a ring of fairy mushrooms, which we've seen growing around our yard alongside the orange honey mushrooms.

You are returning home with the shopping when a man who is dressed in rags and has slightly pointed ears, stops you. He asks the way to the nearest fairy ring so he can go home.

We walked the ancient crooked paths to #StoneHenge and being the person I am, while all others concentrated on the stones, I saw a Ylfen ring (faerie ring).
I stood for sometime, watching the stone circle from another age as to guarded this tiny ring of magic by its side; brothers in enchantment.
