Oui, excellent.
On en a bavé pour réussir à faire fonctionner la combinaison /e/OS ( #Murena ) + #AndroidAuto + #Fairphone3Plus (2019), mais le résultat est tout à fait utilisable ! -

Da ich jetzt zu einem Fairphone 6 gewechselt hab, habe ich Ersatzteile für fast 2 #Fairphone3 (eigentlich #Fairphone3Plus ) übrig.
Das alles brauche ich nicht mehr, also jetzt im Angebot für die, die auf der Suche nach Ersatzteile sind.Die beide Hauptmodule funktionieren leider nicht mehr.
Es können auch noch eine haufe Schrauben dazu gegeben werden.Wenn interessiert, schreib mir bitte an.

Akku: €5 (weiß nicht wie fähig die noch sind!)

Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung im Heißmachen eines Chips bzw. Boards, um eine kalte #BGA-Lötstelle "zufließen" zu lassen?
Main #Fairphone3Plus hat den offenbar gar nicht so seltenen #SuddenDeath erlitten. Anleitungen gibt's massenweise, aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich meinen Küchenbackofen für so was riskieren will und ich trau mich nicht… -
Beim Fairphone der Gemahlin das Display ausgebaut, Kontakte zwischen Mainboard und Display mit Isopropylalkohol gereinigt, Stäubchen mit Pinsel entfernt und das Smartphone wieder zusammengeschraubt. Seither scheinen Touchscreen und Display wieder störungsfrei zu funktionieren.
Finde es schon sehr cool, dass derlei ohne Klebegehampel möglich ist.

Schon schick, wenn man - nur mit einem Schraubendreher und einem Plektrum bewaffnet - mal eben eine neue Front- und eine neue Rückkamera ins Smartphone einbauen kann.

Ich hab gestern endlich mein #Fairphone3Plus mit #LineageOS neu aufgesetzt. Ich liebe es, Sachen neu aufzusetzen. :masto_love: 🤩
Es ist übrigens nicht empfehlenswert, die Speicherkarte als integrierten Speicher zu benutzen (es wird ja auch explizit davon abgeraten bei der Installation). Ich hatte das jetzt aber sehr lange so, und es bröselt und bröckelt dann immer mehr, bis es nicht mehr auszuhalten ist.
Diesmal hat es wenigstens gleich am Anfang gscheit nicht funktioniert. Nach einem ersten Neustart waren alle bereits konfigurierten Apps wieder leer oder konnten gar nicht starten. Also gleich wieder zurückgesetzt und die Speicherkarte als externen Speicher definiert. Jetzt ist es gut.

This morning my #Fairphone3Plus broke down. Without warning it just was #bricked. This is really annoying. I am now using my old phone.
What really bothers me about this is that #Google deliberately sabotages simple #backup solutions.
You either use their #cloud services or you have to setup every single app again by hand!
The most important thing I lost was my podcast playback history, but still...

Another example for why it's good to be able to take your phone apart (and put it back together again) by yourself:
Earlier this week I dropped my phone into shallow water in the bathroom, with the lower end with the carging socket and the mircophone and speaker openings going under water. I immediately pulled it out, clipped off the back cover and removed the battery.
As I dried it on the outside, I could see more water coming out of the socket and from under the display. 😱 So I unscrewed the phone's body. I could see that there was water between the modules of the lower end, so I unscrewed and removed the microphone and speaker modules.
I carefully dried and cleaned the parts as much as I could. I left everything to dry separately overnight, and after I had put it back together again the next morning, it just worked. Oh joy! :masto_love: 😎 🤩

Das Blöde an dem neuen #Fairphone5 ist, dass das alte #Fairphone3plus noch gut ist und das auch noch lange so bleiben wird.

@paula @PaulaToThePeople @AustrianFairphoners I intend to use this phone for as long as possible. It gets updates even though it's not the latest version, I have spare parts (I kept all the intact parts of the first one 😆), there's lots of support from different operating systems (well, right now), and it has a card slot for more memory (in my experience that's crucial to keeping older phones current). I'm trying hard not to drop it anywhere 😁
I'm unhappy with the camera. It's literally the worst phone camera I've ever had. It's a combination of hardware and software aspects, and it's not going to get better. 🤷 All the other features are totally okay for me.

Ich habe gerade an meinem gut 2 Jahre alten Fairphone 3+ das Bottom-Modul, also die Ladebuchse gewechselt, weil es nicht mehr richtig laden konnte.
Es hat mir Hilfe eines YouTube Tutorials einwandfrei funktioniert.
